ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I'm all for taking the positives out of a situation but for heaven's sake. I like the way they start off by dismissing hypothetical tables and then proceed to come up with a load of pointless stats, with the caveat "The numbers are open to interpretation and, as always, do not reveal the entire picture."

Floundering cack wizards the lot of 'em.

Edit - and there's another poll, lovely job, hehe.

What they're actually saying is: "so, you can see from our schmience that the buck toothed tit isn't all he's cracked up to be".

...and they'll lap it up.

They're getting a more balanced and rounded team. Brendan's got this.

It's like dealing with Third World people who worship the elements, it really is.

Or worshipping Lyssa the god of madness in their weird pursuit to be the craziest poster of them all... (yeah I looked that up)

Its littered with differing types of cult madness as well:

Technical madness:...

It's the most laughable nonsense around.

Every 6 months Rodgers' ppg tally has gone up.

In the last 14 matches we were 12-1-1. We'd probably have been 13-0-1 if we weren't so desperate to increase our GD vs Palace.

But 12-1-1 is 37 pts/42 which is 2.64 ppg which is equivalent to an astonishing 100 points over a 38 match season.

Considering that last season (2012-13), we went on a much improved run (vs. the first 6 months of Rodgers' reign) and then proceeded to beat that, I hardly expect much of a drop off next year from 2.64 ppg.

Delusional madness:

We will be in the Champions League next year. It isn't going to be easy to sustain such a crazy rate over 38 games, given that even Barca and Real Madrid have struggled in the past couple of seasons. That isn't to say that we wouldn't be able to do it at some stage under Brendan Rodgers.
In fact, if we were to exit the CL in the group stages (hopefully not!), we might just manage 95 points or something tremendous like that, depending on our summer transfers.

The inevitable madness

I honestly think we can win it next season

And err this... which is simply RAWK madness:

Reason or imagination; probability or poetry; the search for solutions or the search for beauty. These are the contrasting theories of the conduct of affairs that we are faced with before each and every decision. There are those who believe that life consists of a series of imposed situations to each of which there is one right response, and there are those who think that we ourselves impose upon the material chaos a psychic order of our own invention, not seeking a problem but to conceive a work of art.
Those stuck in the land of reason can not understand the freedom with which we play. These over-analysers commend the structure and order with which Jose Mourinho's Chelsea play, whilst criticising the poetry in motion we have unleashed upon the league. They don't understand us; they fear us.
We don't fit into the natural order that has come to pass within football. Rodger's strives not to win a football match, or the league. He strives to create an artistic impression that will stay in our minds for generations. We are playing football that before now only our dreams could create. A special brand that this game has rarely seen.
You can keep the Mourinhos, the Allardyces and the Pulises, we have a true Impressionist for a manager, who is creating a footballing renaissance. Sculpting is footballing views onto the world. We will continue to stroke the ball around, like Van Gogh stroking a brush on an easel. We will continue to excite, frighten and destroy in equal measure. We will continue to rise from the ashes.
Let the pundits keep the logic, we have our dreams. That's all we need for this quest for footballing beauty.
