Dreary commentary with tired asides "Steven Gerrard...what an honest interview he gave about being disappointed about how last season ended..but said we go again". Er ? The whole football presentation is infested with RS throughout. Today for example in a five minute spell at halftime : McAllister co-commentating...James the Imbecile passing inane remarks on the pitch...then over to a grinning bus-head Owen at Wembley for a Charity Shield plug. The commentator on BT sport just listed a load of teams Liverpool conceded 3 against last season, all of them virtually bottom half and us to which Mcallister replied 'you can't win leagues conceding that many goals against those sort of teams' haha. It was the perfect set up and volley for a little dig.

He's injured and out for the first few games, isn't he? The other issue is that without Suarez, opposing defences have less to concentrate on and will put more focus on stopping Sturridge and man-marking Sterling.

Basically, take away the goals Suarez scored and half the goals Sturridge scored, and Liverpool are narrowly-avoiding relegation.

Should be an interesting season!
