ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Iago Aspas scored 12 goals in 34 appearances for Celta de Vigo during the 2012-13 La Liga season that helped them stay in the top flight. He comes to LFC for £9 million, and Brenda works his magic and in 14 league appearances scores nil, none, zero goals. Rodgers really is a top top coach that can improve all comers, and it will not be long before he claims that if Brazil had played Coutinho then they would have won the world cup. Let's see where this Sterling is similar to Messi is around Christmas time when they are out of contention for the Herbstmeister .

I don't think Liverpool will match last year - for several reasons. I'll post them in the style of RAWK;

Yet they think Origi will light up the Prem next year.

Arriving at Melwood....

Sterling's pre-season form similar to Barcelona frontman Lionel Messi, says Rodgers

Brendan Rodgers says Raheem Sterling’s breathtaking pre-season form for Liverpool FC has reminded him of Barcelona great Lionel Messi.

The exciting 19-year-old winger will go into Sunday’s Premier League opener with Southampton at Anfield on a high after shining throughout the club’s schedule of friendlies.

lol

On the back of the illuminating joe cole quote from slippy this one made me laugh and angry in equal measures because no one will call him on it from the press...

Oh god, RAWK has pulled me back in...just read this corker of an exchange. A reasonable post which elicited this baffling response.

= Lovren, Lallana, Markovic, Moreno*, Can are all very good but not world class signings.

A reasonable post which elicited this baffling response..

Neither were Sturridge and Coutinho when we got them though.

WEll no, mate and they're not world class now nor will they ever be. They've all convinced themselves it wasn't Suarez but Brent's 'system' that won them the Xmas league last year.

Their cultism is getting stronger.

Yet the same posters mate, reckon its not the brent system responsible for them being woeful defensively but individual players...

Logically makes no sense, cant have it both ways, will be amusing to see it prooved how reliant they were on suarez for the entire system working and to see the demise of gerrard this year

lol

So much pressure being heaped onto that little toerag woman beater, will be amusing to watch him flop this year without suarez
