More commonly used by Mancs to describe any Scouser mate
Sorry, don't understand your question.
Sorry! If Rodgers was worried about Sturridge not have an extra rest day and he would have been told he'd be getting picked for England, why didn't he rest him against Spurs and use his 2 billion pound squad? Just wondered why that never entered his genius head.
You don't think it reasonable to assume that Sturridge could play vs Spurs on the Sunday and then have two rest days before playing a meaningless England friendly on the Wed night?Sorry! I thought it was a London thing, as in "Bin Lids" is rhyming slang for Kids. So rough translation is young pickpocketers. Or something.

Nah mate it hails back to the early 80's when the unemployment in Liverpool was ridiculously high and the Mancs started going on about how the scousers were all on the dole and scavenging in bins for food/clothes etc
Given the relative importance of the two games, I don't think he does.Yes I do but Rodgers is bemoaning the fact he didn't. He must of had a conversation with Hodgson and known Sturridge was playing on Weds yet he picked him to play on the Sunday. Of course club comes first but he needs to take some blame for Sturridge not getting the 'rest'.

If it was Barkley who needed two days rest after a game I would have still have expected Martinez to play him against Spurs and for Roy to rest him on the Mon/Tues then pregame training on the Wednesday before the friendly. Or for him to sit out the friendly and train as normal in preperation for the important match vs Switzerland.
Ah, fair enough.
As in, "They look in the rubbish for something to eat, in their Liverpool homes"
Only heard it from Londoners. Perhaps means both!!
2 days rest every time he plays 90 minutes? That's what shark face is saying he needs. LOL at brenda.
How come he got to rest for two days after a match, Sturridge cant be happy with this being out in the media. lol How does this help anyone havin this row in public. Why not just phone roy instead.
