Does that mean that when they play on a Saturday and Tuesday, then Sturridge will need to rest Sunday and Monday and therefore will not train before the Tuesday's game. Funny that the other LFC speed merchant, Sterling, who also needs 2 days rest, didn't get injured. Rodgers is going to be in a pickle when they play on the 26 December and the 28th December. Blaming Hodgson for sicknote Sturridge's injury is a pathetic attempt to get the excuses in early.

The thing with all the players that went to the world cup is rest and recuperation and how that was managed by their club. England got knocked out on 24th June and Rodgers played Sturridge on 27 July against Olympiacos. Sturridge wasn't given enough time to recuperate before Rodgers played him. The dumbass Rodgers needs to look no further than his 40 ft. portrait, to find the culprit for the mismanagement of Sturridge's fitness regime.
