Re: Home atmosphere (Fortress Anfield?)
« Reply #3203 on: Yesterday at 08:25:26 PM »
What has a selfie stick got to do with atmosphere!? People travel from all over the world to check out their hero's at Anfield. If someone wants to use a selfie stick that's his/her choice, get over it. We go to Anfield to support the team not judge our fellow fans.

Atmosphere at Anfield is always lacking for most premier league games which can probably be said for all of the other grounds as well in the league.

Our away support however is something special, especially last season..

Is there any hidden corner of pompous, witless, meaningless claptrap which he hasn't made his own?

He hasn't been on Coro yet. Only a matter of time though really.

I think he will hit a wall and be another swp....... But that's just me, he's nowhere near the class of Robben...... Or hazard for that matter.

Not a chance he'll become a SWP, he's too talented. But I do agree he's nowhere near the level of Hazard and won't ever be.

He's so one dimensional it's frightening. He's a knock and run merchant who will be found out swiftly - he already was in the World Cup where he was a weak link due to giving the ball away constantly by running down blind alleys, and now that Suarez is gone the abundance of space he had to work with is gone. Add to that Sturridge being injured and I'll be surprised if he gets a sniff of goal until he's back.

He's done better than I thought over the last season, but everything about him screams Aaron Lennon/Jermaine Pennant/SWP as his career progresses.

WTF does that even mean???

Brent is such a tit isn't he. I couldn't stand him at Swansea, he's a rent-a-quote of cliches and stuff he's read in football books.

He's so trying to be like Shankly it's untrue - he's like a kid who is obsessed with the Football Manager video games who has just been given a go managing for the first time. He comes out with so much rubbish when it comes to formations and systems, and who remembers his Joe Allen is the "Welsh Xavi" quote?! He's a tit.
