I am starting to see this myself. I do think he's a decent coach but not a manager if that makes sense? I.e. he's awful in the transfer market for starters - he basically see's a player who has a half decent season and a fancy name and he's all over them (Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana etc).

He's got huge pressure on him now too - he has spent over £200 million in 2 seasons I read the other day - he has to start delivering silverware. They can't play the 'Rafael has no money to spend/our owners are a cancer' excuse over at RAWK anymore.

Rodgers, with the massive help of the RS dominated media, claims that he 'improves' players. Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson, Coutinho are the ones that spring to mind and are the ones rammed down our throats to 'prove' that Rodgers can work wonders. For everyone of those there is an Agger, Downing, Borini, Sahin, Assaidi, Skrtl, Johnson, Kelly, Conor Coady, Aspas etc.. He has failed with more as a coach than he has been 'successful'. He hasn't got the time, and patience to develop the academy's young players so buys ready made off the shelf.

When does he not come out with cringeworthy nonsense? Rodgers reminds me of a guy who got fast-tracked into office management after completing a business masters degree, and chose philosophy as his minor because HE CAN'T EVEN SEE THE BOX, HE'S SO FAR OUTSIDE.
