I hate the RS with a passion. I could handle them with Kenny as their manager. Rodgers is a breed apart. I hope he gets genital warts the size of a bunch of grapes.

The thing I hate the most about them is when they are crap they still manage to win

We play 10% below our best and we lose ffs

Pact with the devil will never run out
Not sure mate.

They had a fortune to spend and every single world class player they approached turned them down.

Spawning a result here and there is about the extent of their luck these days.

Plus the devil deffo collected his due this spring :D.

This is so true! It's like "what do we do now, who do I give it to?" They are seriously goosed without him. I rated the fella but Christ!!! I can't believe one player can nearly win you the league, no matter how sub par it was last year.

Van Persie was fairly influential, probably the main factor the season before that fairly awful United team won the league, it does happen.

Its great to see them missing him badly, but when they just get jammy again tonight you wonder will it even matter.

At some point when Chelsea win the league (if not this year), although he's a big part of it Costa wouldn't be the sole reason for it. They've got Hazard, Fabregas, etc.

Weird coz I hated Kenny way more. He was pretty much a pychopath and embodied everything their collective fanbase is. [Poor language removed] cult like. Rodgers is a tool but he's not that bad. Hes just trying to earn a wage and hes revising 'the kopite quote handbook' and telling them exactly what they want to hear. Fair play to him I say.

117 million spent to look as poor as that .

I always try and be reasonable when it comes to football so I'll just say, didn't it take them a good few games last season to start looking a threat?

I personally think they have bought too many 'decent' players rather than getting in the genuine article like the other team that play in red but have no CL footy to offer *cough cough Di Maria* *cough cough Falcao*.

I didn't watch last night's game, I was far more interested in Dortmund v Arsenal rather than another silent night at Anfield where you can hear the old fellas drinking their PG Tips. I did hear that they were pretty awful though, especially Coutinho (who is better than Silva on his day, according to our bitter friends at RAWK) and Lallana La.

What a jammy bunch the RS are. The Bulgarians gave them a footballing lesson in pass and move and cut through LFC with ease, they were chasing shadows. Central to this was how much Gerrard's legs have gone. With the bunch of wannabe's Rodgers has assembled at great expense, it has become blatantly obvious how much they relied on Suarez.

I won't slate individual players for their performance last night as it was collectively poor.... Granted they had a decent share of possession but they had no idea what to do with it...... At the back, Moreno looks a class act tbh and will only get better...... Sakoh on the other hand looks positionally clueless and petrified in possession

Yep I love that Moreno player. He cost nowhere near as much as we paid for Shaw and is the better player right now (I think Shaw will come good though)
