Dejan Lovren £20m
Mamadou Sakho £15m
Glen Johnson £17m
Alberto Moreno £12m
Martin Skrtel £6.5m
Jose Enrique £7m

With that kind of money invested into their back 4 they ought to be able to put a training dummy between the sticks and keep a clean sheet. Most CL starting XIs don't cost that much.

They'll never admit that they are an absolute shambles in the transfer market though.

Skrtel is the cheapest and up to now the best of a bad bunch.

Speaking of Henderson....another Rodgers self promotional vanity project disguised as a testament of "Henderson's remarkable rise" and his appointment as vice-captain.....
“I think Jordan’s story is a story of what a player can achieve if he accepts what the coach and the manager is saying,”....“We’ve seen that during my time here with the number of players who have maybe been outside the group and then come in"....."When I called Jordan into my office and explained why I had chosen him and what the thought process was, he was very proud,”....“Sometimes they’re really representing you as the coach and the manager....."
Brilliant hey...not only describing himself in the third person, but also as two different people. I don't know about YNWA, they should run out to the Twilight Zone theme at their joint.

"Brendan Rodgers’ determination to land Clint Dempsey has been laid bare after it was revealed he attempted to broker the deal by offering several Liverpool stars in exchange.

Rodgers had agreed a swap in principle with Fulham for Jordan Henderson but it now appears that Stewart Downing and Jose Enrique were also mentioned as possible departures".

Rodgers has had a high turn over of players in particular seasoned professionals like Reina, Agger, Downing, Adams. It is part of the 'if he accepts what the coach and manager is saying'. Seasoned professionals will have laughed at the 3 envelop shenanigans and the 20 ft. portrait and the 'we got beat but won the passing' bull. They will laugh at him behind his back. Getting rid of those and bringing in players that have not quite 'made it' Sturridge, or happy to make the next step up Lambert, Lovrens, Lallana, Mingolet etc. in other words grateful 'yes' men, that won't question or raise an eyebrow what the fraud spouts shoite.

Edit. In one of their games last week Henderson tried to dribble his way out of trouble and nearly fell over the ball and lost it. He runs around a lot, but gets caught out of position when it is higher up the pitch and that means the opposition can get at legsgone Gerrard. It was evident against Villa and Ludgorets.

No wonder Brent has such a hard-on for his moral compass, it's like looking at a framed Brendan Rodgers portrait.

Rodgers had the nerve to say this morning on the radio that Stewart Downing "who used to play for us" was the best player on the pitch Hull v W Ham. Which obviously reflects on West Ham and not the RS as that would be the Stewart Downing they allegedly lost £15m on and who scored nine goals in two years for them. Some "Rodgers Effect" on turning players careers round.

Henderson is a mouth breathing moron, with the intelligence of a garden shed.

He's not bad to be fair, but thoroughly undeserving of the OTT bumming that Rodgers gives him on a regular basis. In fact, that central midfield partnership gets a ludicrously easy pass from him in the press considering that they're the reason Liverpool are as leaky as a lego colostomy bag.

That is more to do with his teflon partner than him. Henderson's international and club pwrformances will be criticised a lot more without slippy me attracting media adulation regardless of perfornance standard.
