Raheem Sterling looks weird with makeup

LOL

Bren has been grooming him into the player he wants giving 100% under him

Alright, which one of you is it?!

(From the RAWK Meltdown facebook page)

I wasn't exactly born in Liverpool, and really only started following LFC about 8 years ago. I don't have a scouse accent and parents weren't born there either. Never been to Anfield, or an away match. I've never technically been to Liverpool, or the UK, or anywhere outside the US. I've never had a vocal conversation with anyone who has a scouse accent, but about 5 years ago my personal trainer for 3 month's from London had a lfc tattoo.

So deep down I know I am full blooded scouse.

lol

Can we all have a GOT day out at RAWK and have one of the mods start some wild rumours or give a opinion that is so negative, we could all join in and realy wind them up ? The joy of seeing bungle wind them up from multi accounts, followed by the guy drawing detailed edited pictures laying wreaths and such.....

Take my word on this, Rodgers is not getting sacked this season. the bloke nearly won the league last year so there wont be any knee jerk this year when they aren't doing as well as other teams. What rodgers has right now is a little bit of time and the longer he has the longer he will ground them into a rut that it will take another season to get out of.

So no listening to rumours, he aint going anywhere anytime soon.

Which on the basis of two seasons ago and this season, brilliant.

I hope Brenda stays there for many non achieving season too but the Sunday Times were adamant that FSG are "alarmed" at the slump given that Brenda has splurged £115m to take the team back 6 places and have "noted" AVB success in Russia.

FSG have a CL agenda to meet their financial model and if Brenda doesn't deliver, someone else will be tried. They have probably looked at Abramovich's manager model and thought "hmm, works for him"

Guy? GUY??? I'll have you know it was a collective effort.

I can just see AVB putting in his CV and omitting the bits about Chelsea and Spurs (as you do, especially the Spurs bit)..

"So AVB what did you do between leaving Porto and going to Russia?"

ahh but the chelsea model doesn't work. The amount of money that goes into buying and selling players and managers is an incredible expense that no-one apart from chelsea would consider, and the appointment of mourinhio probably is their admittance of it not being viable anymore.

But more to the point, Brendans transfer outlay was far more smarter than anyone gives him credit for. the amount of young and specifically foreighn players means he can fall back on the excuse of them needing time to bed in. Whether they were all terrible business only time will tell there but it isnt a stick he will be beat with unless it carries on next year, or failing that they go on a horrible run.

Remember they werent ripping up trees this time last year, doing better but not great in comparison. It was january onwards that FSG will be hoping repeats itself.

True but there's a huge difference between last season's Liverpool and this one.

Firstly, they have CL footy to juggle. Brent is struggling with the rotation game, last season he played the same 11 week-on, week-out, had all week to prepare for the weekend match and his teams looked energetic, full of fire in their bellies. Plus they had a fit Sturridge and an incredible player in Suarez, which the team was built around.

This season they all look like they're confused. They don't really have a gameplan, Rodgers has gone from having pace, energy and desire up-front to Balotelli and Lambert (lol), the 2 most static strikers in the Premier League.

Then you've got the money factor weighing down his shoulders. He has no excuses now, he spunked a TONNE of cash in the summer on what looks to be average dross.

On top of all this they've got a keeper who wouldn't look out of place keeping goal for my local Sunday league side, their 'inspirational' captain's legs have gone and they are not getting the weekly penalty awards which kept occuring last season.

Worrying times at Anfield and for all involved. I am loving it.

Even if Brenda gets the sack nobody decent will go there, club is crap.

This is the thing. Liverpool supporters really don't have a realistic view of themselves as a football club. They are not the type of club that will attract the likes of Ancelotti, Mourinho or Guardiola. But in their warped minds, well the ones on RAWK anyway, they think they're a huge pull for players and managers. They're not.

Even Manchester United struggle to attract players because it's not an attractive city when clubs based in London, Paris and Spain also come calling. And United are a bigger club than Liverpool.

They're a fanbase too obsessed with past glories - no young player remembers Liverpool in the European Cup against the likes of Borussia Munching Glad Back and the like. And no world class manager wants to take over at a stadium where the houses outside have boarded up windows.

think this summer proved that not to be the case?

totally opposite for liverpool. like what you said, all their fans were saying things like "why did we buy balotelli, why didn't we go for benzema? etc"

ha, as if benzema would go there, they're too unrealistic, the think about their transfer business as if it's FIFA on the XBOX and you can just buy anyone.

i thought they would a couple of weeks back when di maria was fit. guessing he'll be injured?

Yeah he probably will be but Di Maria has been out of form anyway.

Rooney will be key for us on Sunday IF he doesn't get injured again today. I'm off to the game, gonna have a few ales beforehand to steady the nerves. Then it's the Stretty and non-stop signing for 90+ minutes, love it when that lot visit!
