ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

IQ on that place is terrible.

Everton I reckon would be [Poor language removed] in a new stadium, prem teams playing in their current wooden shithole are at a disadvantage cos it's like playing either at a lower league ground or turning the clock back and playing in the 60's!

umm, the game isn't played on the wooden seats.

Their piss poor home record this season kind of contradicts this, though.

not too sure a liverpool fan can laugh at everton's home results this season

They've been selling their better players to united and getting the mancs outcasts for a good while. I expect the trend to continue.

so rooney and fellaini. suppose that does spread over a long length of time.

That's the real damage of the Kenwright era, no long-term planning has left Everton in a terrible situation where they are now running just to standstill.
i've seen a few of them say that our squad is old and we're in desperate trouble because we're not investing in youth.

i mean yeah, it's not as if we bought robles, stones, galloway, mccarthy, besic and lukaku (as well as young ross behind) as you know a young spine going right down the heart of the team. they're so thick. you can't have a squad totally devoid of experienced players. our older players are all in the important positions where you need experience, bar osman and pienaar who are both rotation anyway.

And still their fans talk about CL and winning the premiership.

yep, everyone on here is totally serious when they say we should be winning the league.

Even if they got into the CL proper the filip of appearance money would be undermined by the poor season they would have as a consequence of getting hockied week in, week out by the best teams in Europe. The EL just does not compare.

looks up irony in the dictionary.

Raheem Sterling looks weird with makeup

I bet her gait is more masculine than his though.

Thought RAWK's Everton thread was quite amusing...sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander I guess

it's amusing because they're so bitter of united. they're so deluded that they thought they were set for a period of dominance over them. the could laugh for a few months at the start of this season but now united have blown them out of the water and made an absolute mockery out of them. they've both thrown a massive amount of cash around, but united are still big enough to attract world class quality despite not being in europe at all.

so now, they've decided to turn their attention back to us to have a laugh at, when the reality is that come season's end we would have finished above them 3 seasons out of 4 - with their one solitary victory coming single handedly from a guy who overperformed and has now moved on.
they can laugh all they like, they're laughing at our purchase of lukaku (i know right, the fans of the team who spunked £35m on someone whose greatest achievement was scoring about 15 goals in the championship) but the reality is that even us, despite being in europa managed to attract a bigger signing than them. we also brought in eto'o who is a bigger name than their £120m worth of signings put together.

they'll be laughing at tranmere by the end of march.

Hilarious waffle from some kopite here

Patting himself on the back for a prediction that hasn't even come true yet. We've had a far harder start to the season and after next weekend's fixtures we'll be ahead of them.

Basically he's been banging on about the ageing squad but our performances have prevented him taking any credit, first run of bad form and he thinks he's Nostradamus.

Never fear mate. Naismith is going to destroy him.

So apparently the 5-0 win at Spurs a year ago has some mystic value tonight. (the Independent article). Wonder how happy Basel would be with a 5-0 away win.

Thing is, 10 years ago we laughed at them and they scored that Las minute goal to get out the group and went on to win it with the likes of Biscan, Traore and Smicer in the team.

Lets not tempt Satin out boys. Say nothing.

Hellfire, I couldn't handle that happening again.

And don't forget Harry Kewell was in their starting XI that night as well.
