Reminds me a bit of a slightly more sinister Benny Hill...

He's the most hiddeous of all their pundit ex-players. Big nosed, beady eyed tosser

Nah that's sound as a pound aldo.

Thompsons alright, gives a bit of banter when it comes to us and is bias to them but In a more "oh you!" Kind of way, rather than said aldo shouting off the top of his lungs with his Jarg accent

IF Fergie had gone to Everton instead of us and made you what Man Utd are today, you wouldn't be posting tripe like this. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

AND I haven't ONCE complained that "Money has ruined the game." It's part and parcel OF the game now, unfortunately. That's not Man Utd's fault, it's just what it is. Blame UEFA, FIFA and the sugar daddies. Don't blame us for building something, it's not like we were nothing one minute and then super rich the next (Hello Man City/PSG).

Not saying we're without our faults mind you. But your post is way off the mark.
Actually, it is partly Man Utd's fault.
Back in the 90s, the G12 or G16 or however many there were at the time (of which Man Utd were a founding member) pressured UEFA into expanding the European cup so that runners up could qualify in order to minimise the chance of them missing out on the huge windfalls on offer. They also wanted a league format so that they could have a bad result and still stay in the comp, then they insisted on seeding to help them all get further in the tournament. And all the smaller nations can have their little qualifying playoffs to entitle them to play against the big boys, not enough money to be made from playing some Estonian team when you could play Barcelona.
They threatened to form a breakaway league if their demands weren't met, UEFA buckled and it has progressively got easier for the bigger clubs to get their annual wad of cash.
And due to the Man City's/PSGs/Chelsea's now threatening their little clique, all of a sudden we have FFP to stop any more clubs trying to muscle in on their turf.

Exclusive - Liverpool legend blasts 'rudderless' Reds and claims Rodgers is heading for the sack

The Reds have made a poor start to the Premier League season and are out of the Champions League after failing to beat Swiss side Basel in their final group game on Tuesday night.

Rodgers has now been warned by Nicol he must turn things around quickly if he is to stop the club’s American owners from making a managerial change.

"If things don't change then ultimately Brendan will pay the price," said the Anfield legend, speaking on Extra Time.

“If this team keeps performing the way it is, I don’t think they will have any other option [but to sack Rodgers].

"We are not even halfway through the season yet and I’m guessing most people don’t expect Liverpool to get into the top four.

“We will find a lot out in the transfer window. He has spent a lot of money and the question will be, are the Fenway Group going to back him in the transfer window? If they don’t, that tells you he has only got the second part of the season to at least get the performances better.

“The biggest surprise is how bad the performances are. The result against Basel was a complete disaster on so many levels. The performance level, the fact they are out of theChampions League and the fact they now go into the Europa League, which is going to do nothing but harm them in the Premier League.

“You really wonder where this team is going. He has tried to add to the squad to make it better and somehow it has turned the other way. It is a team that is completely rudderless.

“If you watched the game against Basel and the game against Sunderland, they don’t look to have any imagination going forward, and defensively they look at odds. This is just a desperate time for Liverpool.”

The RS dominated media are insufferable when they are doing well but when they are poor, it becomes quite bearable and amusing.

Sterling turned down a new contract according to all the papers

Why is he trying to upset Jamie, does he want to say it to his face.

My anger at Raheem Sterling contract story... Why this back page left me seething
  • Raheem Sterling is one shining light in the gloom surrounding Liverpool
  • I was sent into a rage upon reading the headline 'Kop fight to keep Sterling' in Sportsmail ahead of the showdown with West Brom

Mind, he said nothing about Stevie me going public.

But according to some of you, Sterling is rubbish - so Liverpool are better without him, right?

In all seriousness, this is where Liverpool struggle compared to Man City, Chelsea and ourselves. They can't pay the HUGE wages that the big clubs do.

Sterling will look to join Man City or Chelsea eventually.

Alan Smith, whilst commentating on the Roma/City game, said "You would expect City to get through to the knockout stage given the money they have spent."

Funny, no one said that about the RS the night before.

Sky subliminally promoting the myth of low-spending LFC.

As for Jamie Redknapp saying the sending off was the 'worst decision' he has ever seen - I think Louise Nurding made a worse one.

LFC - the Jimmy Savile of sport: everyone says how wonderful they are whilst knowing that something sick lies within.
