Sterling rejects 'unacceptable' new £70,000-a-week Liverpool contract

Just seen that headline hahhaa

Pearl Drops has been telling all and sundry he's the best young player in Europe, the RS media have been spouting the weeeerrrrldddd class line for the last 12 months, and I reckon Sterling has started believing them.

I reckon Lennon Lite would want at least 20 grand more than Glen Johnson, so he said 140 grand or I'm off. Then minced out the office at a brisk pace.

Don't forget Real Madrid are interested......Hahahahaha.

In all seriousness, this is where Liverpool struggle compared to Man City, Chelsea and ourselves. They can't pay the HUGE wages that the big clubs do.

LFC buy LOTS of players. They paid £45,000,000 for Markovic and Lallana. Add the two wages together for the wages of a £45,000,000 player and there you go.

They CAN afford it - but no one wants to go there.

They are so rich they were laughing at the start of the season regarding Balotelli, claiming that they can afford to throw that sort of cash away 'cause they are Billy Big Bolls rolling in dosh. FACHT! :D

Redknapp saying the Markovic red card was "One of the worst decisions I have ever seen".

He slapped someone in the face. On a football pitch. How can you argue against that you tit?
Strangely every other pundit said that it was a stupid thing to do.

Also strangely, he said that it was a penalty in the City game whilst every other pundit thought it was a joke of a decision. In fact he went to great lengths with his 'Sky machine' to show that it was a 'definite' penalty.

Strange that! Very strange!

Just like to point out that all the talk now is of sacking Rodgers.

Exactly 7 months after he nearly won the league. Crap or not that is a massive knee jerk reaction by everyone involved.

I don't know about kneejerk mate, it's modern footy for you. The thing is, it's not as if it's "Plucky ol Rodgers who got a team to 2nd place without spending any cash." He has spent TWO HUNDRED MILLION since being manager at Pool is what i've read.

He'll have targets, like every manager, set by the owners. If they think Pool will fail to finish 4th, when he's spunked tonnes of their cash on duds, then they're well within their rights to address the managerial situation.

If my hatred for Andy Townsend was say 90/100. Then after listening to his unbiased commentary on tuesday, i reckon my hatred has no bounds now. I always try to give second chances but deary me i hope someone cuts Townsends tongue out. Seeing Gerrard at the end, i was expecting him to push the camera away like he did at Palace, yet against United he started throwing the lips on the lens. The creased head beaut.

Well said, Townsend is a nightmare. The pure bias that came out of his gob was something else.
