I think that is code for "as long as I am manager he will never play for us again", so expect to see Mignolet back between the sticks for the Arsenal game.

Looked a great keeper at Sunderland, Really good stopper, His confidence is shot because of Rodgers trying to lay the defensive issues at his feet

What a awful manager

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been dropped "indefinitely", Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.

The Belgian was replaced by Brad Jones for Sunday's 3-0 defeat against Manchester United, and the Australian will retain his place for Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie at Bournemouth.

"I felt I had to change it because we have to find solutions throughout the squad to be better," said Rodgers.

"I said to Simon that it's for an indefinite period."

Haha great news! Mignolet is a decent 'keeper who is going through a rough patch; to hit the panic button and throw Jones in is a sign of desperation that will weaken them.

If I was the keeper I would ask him why he hasn't quit if he's looking for solutions, Spouting crap in the media about this player and that player when he's the glaring error in the whole set up

He is so much of a whopper you almost forget he jibbed Reina off in the summer. Still, I am sure Bayern is still viewed as a step down from Anfield....

Yep.

Ah, what a delightful way to end a winning accumulator than seeing the RS get beat

New levels of bitter bias from Mr. Neutral Martin Tyler today.

...not sure what to make of Lallana. Clearly very talented, great feet and can pick a pass but his input is fleeting. Perhaps a luxury footballer missing that ingredient to make things happen. £25m, don't think I'd swap him for a Mirallas.
