Mind you, I disagree with Nicol and Barton, I do think he has the credentials to be Liverpool captain. Being a self-important nobhead takes you half way there; he just needs to be able to demonstrate the ability to join in a gang attack on a defenceless man, run down a kid in his car and acquire some gangster mates.

Just following the Kult party line all the accusations of wall pushing singing songs,pissing on the memorial,smoking crack
using the eternal flame yet not one single video of it despite the fact 99% of them loons spend their time recording everything

...they'll never get over that. Something like that scars you forever. It's the humiliation of it all. They had it, and then they bottled it. And they know it too.

One big opportunity fell into their laps with Suarez on fire, not having Europe to deal with, City and Chelsea in the doldrums, pens and red cards going their way every other week....and they still ballsed it up. That was a knife through the heart. I dont think they'll win the league for another decade at least.

No mention in the article about Gerrards comments and if he's the captain the he takes the pen. They always try to manipulate everything to suit their agenda. Someone mentioned it on Thursday during the game, Lallanas sitter want really a sitter, Tyldesley went to great lengths to explain the ball just didn't sit right for him and took a bobble and someone had Deffo moved that crossbar lower and it probably should have been a pen 8 minutes prior to the lead up to the miss.

That's right yeah. He said Balotelli had disrespected "Hendo". I wonder how posh lad Pearce squares that circle? No criticism, of course, for Gerrard suggesting he was wrong to back down and encourage disrespect...just picks Nicol and Barton out for telling the truth.
