A lot seems to be being made of how great slippy/stampy is because he has apologised to everyone for his cowardly act of thuggery yesterday.

i have my doubts tbh. first england squad since he got injured isn't it? liverpool trying to pretend he's injured to give him an easy way out to avoid him playing for england. think sturridge has too much pride to go along with it though.

Tbh think it was because Costa did two stamps and didn't get any in game punishment whereas in the Liverpool game it came from two different players, one of whom was sent straight off and the incident was at the end of the match. Doubt Jose will see it that way though.
