ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Some berk rang the Merseyside post match phone in earlier and said that he'd heard that the only reason Sanchez signed for Arsenal was that they offered him more money. "These American owners wont pay out.....zzzz...." The usual RS ploy of, if you say something often enough, it gets transformed from being an elaborate urban myth to instantly being accepted as truth and fact. Their self deception knows no boundaries and will be shown with its kecks down when this season falls apart, deja vu style, like last year's....especially if they get turned over by Blackburn thus denying their soon to be ex-talisman his final ego trip at Wembley on his birthday.

They genuinely can't stand those increasingly frequent moments when they're delusion is shattered by reality. They're still a huge club in their own minds, and they have to perform mental gymnastics to avoid facing the harsh truth that they are a selling club and big players want nothing to do with them.

In the event they get turned over by Blackburn next Wednesday, I'm thinking of getting some industrial strength headphones so I don't have to listen to all the wailing and gnashing of Gnashers and so many deluded RS.

Bell?

"an hardly any 'it's only 20 years since CL qualification"

We qualified for the CL in the 2004/2005, so why would anybody talk about 20 years, unless they cant math.

Sit down.
Yes bell like I said it was a typo 10 years since CL 20 since trophy

Go away an bother someone who agrees that Besic is as good as u think he is

In the 70s Mae West made a movie called 'Sextette'.

She wrote the screenplay herself. Although she was in her 80s she was playing the part of a rampant sexual being desired by multitudes of men. Poor Mae was totally deluded and the movie was embarrassing, yet oddly entertaining.

If she would have had 'Standard Chartered' emblazoned across her chest, it would have been perfect.
