It's not unrealistic to think Blackburn will win, or at least take them to penalties. They are dire at the moment, and going to be missing Can. Sturridge having been thrown on at ht today means he'll be touch and go with his dodgy hip now. Can't see him lasting 90 min, course blobfish will keep him on for 120 regardless, that's how desperate he is.

Why did we buy Lambert and Balotelli to replace Suarez. No serious team would do this and why did it take so long to get anyone of note in when you knew Suarez was leaving all season?

Also why would you buy those two when they are the complete anthesis of how we play?

Why did management let our season rest on a injury prone striker? It's not unlucky it's rank stupidity.

Why was Adam Lallana the managers number 1 target when we already have 2 players who play his position better?

Why do we still have no DM after 3 seasons?

Last season the manager said anyone can do what Mourinho does so why has our defence been rank average for 3 seasons when it's the 2nd most expensive in Europe?

I have so many more questions though why did we buy Borini and Allen when the manager already coached them so should have known first hand they aren't of the required standard?

Why have I had to rely on a 20 year old kid to play out of position after you spent £120m? When the manager told me if you spend that much you should be challenging for the title which I agreed with at the time.

All I know is If you have £75m, 95% of players are attainable and anyone who thinks otherwise is part of the excuses culture which has existed all season.

And the real kicker why are we about to be behind a team who 3 best players we supposedly bought?

I am so angry I might have forgot a few things.

The Thursday night cup is still a total dogs breakfast of a Comp. - unless you get to the final it will cause you more harm than good overall

There should be less teams in it and it should follow the same format as the Champions League. Other than that, I quite like the competition.

They said on Goals on Sunday last week that Brenda would be on next week hahahaha obviously doesn't want to explain to us how his tactical excellence and a team he has improved all individually got played off the park for the 2nd game in a row.

Few reasons

  1. The CL clubs generally play on a Sunday anyway, thanks to Sky.
  2. They have much bigger squads due to the much larger incomes they have.
  3. The CL has less rounds, so in theory, this happens less in a season. Less squad tiredness therefore.
 
If only The RS had to play all the so-called lesser teams they'd be the Flat Track Bully Champions of 2013-4 and still in with a chance of top honours this season:
