ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Not to mention he often takes all the credit for a win. How many times have you heard him say that it was his tactical change at half-time that won them the game.

You mean like the Swansea game were they talked about Rodgers tactical changes ? Then the very next phase of play shows that Coutinho is the guy who tells henderson to make the run ? Which then leads to a fortunate goal and all of a sudden it is hail Brendan. The man knows he is very lucky (unlucky to some) to be in the position he is in, therefore he will do anything to cling onto his place as manager, Balotelli is usually the guy who gets the flak, i think as childish as mario is, he knows brendan is a fraud.

I think Ballotelli is very immature, which is why the move to Liverpool move was so bad for him in retrospect. He needs an authoritative, guiding arm over the shoulder, not another nappy-wearing fraud who is just as likely as him to throw his toys out of the pram.

Always a good time for this old chestnut:

Honestly mate and i mean honestly, i really do struggle to understand them lot ! I have read it 3 times trying to see the guys perspective and i still feel like im being shafted inbetween the ears by a fully erect, well endowed black man. I really dont understand them, if they only need to make minor changes to win the league with THAT defence, then we only need to make minor changes too, they are no better than us and i say that having removed my blue tinted specs. The difference between us and them is that we know and admit when we are crap, they just cant do it, they write poems and underline words just like THAT. To think that they feel hard done by from the media L.O.BUCKING.L.

We are Liverpool ha ha ha ha ha ha.
We are not Worried AT. ALL.

I see kaylied ole Aldo La is sound as a pound today again in his weekly diatribe in the Anfield Bugle. Doesn't even mention tomorrow's Blackburn replay in the mix at all but simply sees Wembley as a fitting chance for the RS to get revenge over Arsenal for Saturday's debacle. Gary Bowyer should pin it up in the dressing room before the game.

They say you find out what people are like in adversity. Gnashers is found out EVERY single time. When Liverpool falter under his leadership = players are placed directly in the line of fire.

I'd suggest you can only get away with that so many times before you lose the dressing room.

When you see how he's handled that Sterling situation he comes across as Jekyll and Hyde. Allows him extra time off on holiday - which must have pissed off the other players in their squad; then he turns gangster on Sterling (the attack on the agent is merely the proxy for that attack). If you're one of their squad you must look on and think 'WTF is this feller doing here?'

He surely has no standing there anymore.

I believe if he doesn't land the FA Cup this season as a consolation he's going to be fighting for his job in the summer.

The feller is a walking talking series of soundbites with almost nothing of substance to recommend him. Even the Kopites have started to realise it.

Then when he leaves RAWK can spend the next 10 years re-writing history about great he could have been if only he had been supported in the transfer market.

You still think they are going to get top 4 lad :D? Or agree with me that they have blown it against United to such a degree it's all over, alongside having a manager who doesn't know how to win big games.

I'm going to sit back and enjoy their demise, and I'll say it clearly again, they will not get top 4. Lets see you come back on that now eh?
In theory they should have blown it but Man City seem equally keen to mess up their run in as well.

If Liverpool win against Newcastle and Man City lose to Utd the gap between them is down to 4 points with 6 games to go. Given Liverpool's pact with the devil that would be far too close for my liking.

Stevie G spent last week training the kids as part of taking his badges. He really is an odd person in real life. He stayed on the field until the end so he could walk back to the building on his own.

English football may eat its young, but at least it does so with a sense of grand, banquet-hall theatre. What stage are we at now in the collective devouring of Raheem Sterling? Stuffed and filleted, a single caramelised Braeburn clenched between his teeth, Sterling has spent the last few days nudging his way a little further down that familiar digestive process of hope, hype and fruitless backlash

Got to say, that's a cracking bit of writing from Ronay
