As much as I want to see the vermin mutilated by everyone they play, I somehow think they will muller Blackburn tonight.
More's the pity.

<fingers crossed Blackburn batter them>

I know it is hardly comparable, but Rovers turned Leeds over with absolute ease the other day...

In other words, they do well against rubbish teams who throw money at players, live in the past and constantly argue they are better than others when blatant fact would suggest otherwise.

So a Rovers win then.

If villa are safe by then they'll have a free swing at the semi. Would not be the walkover Liverpool fans think it will. I'm sure the refs will be under instructions to arrange the dream final but hopefully Benteke will down them as usual.

liverpool fans shouldn't think it's be a walkover anyway. villa have beaten them a lot recently. different manager i know, but they can't cope with benteke.

Didn't Blackburn stuff Stoke in the last round? It'll be the inevitable close run thing and then they'll score in the 94th minute after a deflection off Henderson's bottom lip. I'm sure Arsenal won't be overly worried about facing them in the final. Everytime they've come up against a team they're not expected to beat under Brenda they've lost. Can't see that changing.

I think people writing Blackburn off may well be in for a shock tonight.

The RS have had a decent run but as ever they've been lucky during that run and teams like Bolton and even Ludergorets showed its not just the top teams that can give them a scare. Without the leadership of Gerrard, Skrtel and Toure they'll struggle if Rovers make it a battle like Wimbledon did earlier in the cup.

Blackburn will be up if this and there's trouble in the RS camp it won't be the cake walk people seem to expect.

RS will win this easily. They cant screw this up. I dont believe that universe could be so generous. We've got almost too much Honey already. Theres always a catch.

Normally I fancy any Championship side against them, often out of hope more than anything else, but from what I can gather they are severely depleted. I would love to see them do it, but I definitely won't be counting on it.

The motivation to be part of the team that could knock Liverpool out the cup will be a big factor and players with knocks will be desperate to play, I doubt they'll have as many out as people seem to fear. I'd expect most of the 5 players having a fitness test to play some part, but like I said the 5h1te aren't a full strength either. Should be a decent cup tie one way or the other.

Why easily? It's not like their playing well and they've already had a few scares in this cup run to lower league clubs.
It isn't a certainty that they'll win, nor is it a certainty that it will be an easy victory. Still a Liverpool victory is the most probable outcome.

Hopefully that isn't the eventual outcome as I would love Blackburn to knock them out, and they're certainly capable as you mentioned above.

Unfortunately, as we all know Liverpool are extremely 'jammy' so I am expecting a ninetieth minute winner by Super Mario or something.
