I see Rodgers never gives up trying to eke out any drop of melodrama.....from today's Times

Rodgers reserved special mention for Henderson’s dedication to the cause, further proof of his leadership qualities as he prepares to inherit the captaincy on a permanent basis when Steven Gerrard departs Anfield this summer.

“It was a real captain’s performance,” Rodgers said. “He had to go back from the hotel [on Tuesday] because his partner had their second child. He did not have much sleep.
“Some players maybe would have not played, but Jordan said to me that as soon as the baby was out he would be coming back. He travelled all the way back last night, spent the time with his partner, there was a car waiting, and then he came back this morning, had lunch, a bit of a sleep and then played like that in the FA Cup.”

NB.....Blackburn is just over 40 miles away.

You mean, he had events in his life (like everyone else) and had to continue going to work (like everyone else) and even became tired in the process!? (Like everyone else)

He is a god. A god among men.
