Credit the people in that photo, but Jesus wept that is pathetic.

The rest were in bed asleep.........

As said, you have to tip your hat to the few who turned out. But FFS - and given the right and proper behaviour and recognition toward the H'boro victims and their families - do LFC actually think THAT was what was fitting for a day like today?

I didn't think it was possible for that crew to go down in my estimation. I was wrong.

Ignorant and insulting that was today.

Class and dignity.......

I assumed the manager or club captain would be present, but then again why would you be here in the freezing rain when you could be on the piss in Dubai? Dancing and pulling faces celebrating a players new wage!

RIP the 39. makes no difference if their fanbase deny any part tbh, it's the murdering contingent that deny it which are the disgusting despicable human beings. it won't bring the lives back of those affected so no point in bickering about them tbh - just as hillsborough, it's about the families affected not liverpool football club.

why do they have to put their badge on that plaque i do not know.

I'm really starting to like this Sherwood guy.

from the guardian:

Christian Benteke goes into the FA Cup final on Saturday with Aston Villa’s manager, Tim Sherwood, telling him he should set his sights higher than Liverpool but admitting the player could be sold this summer because of a £32.5m buyout clause in his contract that the club have previously never disclosed.

Just had TalkSport on and that Kopite Colin Murray made a 2 minute mention of it being the anniversary of Heysel today, his excuse for not saying anything substantial about it was he didn't know enough of what went on and wouldn't like to misrepresent anything.

Now this is a guy in his late 30's who's a self confessed Liverpool fan, season ticket holder, celebrity fan and friends with some of the players and manager. So you'd think that being a radio presenter on a sports station he'd have some prior knowledge of the background that went on on that day wouldn't you. He's a person who at the drop of a hat has an opinion on anything sport related on any given day, and only this week has been putting FIFA's house in order on a hourly basis.

Wouldn't you think he'd have some insight into what went on in English football's most shameful night, especially as it involves his beloved club? Would it have been to much to ask for him to say how much of an embarrassing stain on his club this was and how it's still follows English football clubs round now to this day.

There's not one of them who's ever been prepared to accept that Heysel was shameful, embarrassing and murderous and it was all their fault.
I despair for them, i really do.

Words fail me the lengths they go to brush the fact they killed 39 people who went to watch a game of football and still refuse any responsibility by blaming everyone else...

Those Liverpool supporters that fateful night have blood on their hands IF they were involved in that attack. How they sleep on this anniversary should haunt them till their dying day. JFT39.
