Milner has never overly impressed me and that's been in a City side alongside class midfield players, time will tell if he'll look as effective alongside world class talents like young Adam and Hendo.

While I don't think they'll be plum last, it wouldn't surprise me to see them precariously placed & struggling before & during Christmas. Nobody's scared of them & neither should they be*

Hope it happens......There'll be a fair few boozers needing new furniture.......Once the rats have chewed it up in a frenzy of frustration after watching them slump time after time from their locals.









*Except us for some inexplicable reason. That'll change anyway, with no homegrown player of any experience/worth for them anymore.

just because milner isnt assiting doesnt mean he isnt contributing

Never got that respect for him. My mate who I go the game says exactly the same as you. Always baffles me. I can't remember if my favourite memory of him is when he dived to win the penalty against us or the time he spends in the refs ear everytime he plays at Goodison. He's always been a moaning cheat to me.

Can't be bothered looking but wouldn't be surprised if it said 'Gerrard (Pen), Gerrard (Free Kick) or Gerrard (Corner).

By the end (as in this season) all he could do was take a good set piece and stamp on Man Utd players, he was a liability in normal play. Not disciplined enough for DM and didn't have the engine he once had to be a box to box midfielder, he was never a player that could be a standard number 10 but Coutinho had that position nailed down anyway.

He was non existent in the Anfield derby but scores a free kick and everybody was raving about him and he ended up getting man of the match but anybody with any footballing knowledge at all could see that the game just passed him by.
