If Liverpool refuse to sell him this summer then why doesnt he wait until next summer or the one after, where LFC practically beg him to leave for funds instead of losing him for nothing. Then do exactly that - leave for nothing lol He can then say, my agent told them i wouldnt stay even for £900k but if they listened and offered me £901k then i would of signed. The ball was in their court !
 
I don't think we're a millions miles off that philosophy that Brendan highlighted three years ago. Benteke clearly fills into that number 7 zone but we have many of them already and think really we should be focusing on better quality in zone 5 and 6, players on zone 4 and a keeper who fits his philosophy better. I know Mignolet improved but he just doesn't fit the mould. Milner would help in zone 5 and Clyne in zone 4. I still think we'll need more in zone 5 and 6 on top of that and a keeper though.

I see can, Milner, Henderson and another as the zone 5 players. One more in that mix would be great. Zone 6 we have Coutinho, Sterling, Lallana, Ibe and Markovic. I think we'll need someone of greater quality there to push us forward and get us goals. Elsewhere on the pitch I don't actually see many issues and think we have good back up too.

I can see why we push for a zone 7 as Sturridge is injury prone and origi and Balotelli would then be our back ups. That's where Benteke comes in, whether he is right depends not just on him but on his link play with players in zone 5 and 6. The key is to have someone who can hold the ball and release it quick in behind to create opportunities whilst also getting on the end of chances. Sturridge is perfect, just injury prone. If we could get someone more reliable than him but in the same ilk that would be perfect.

They really are something those cultists across the park... there's just been a lunatic calked Patrick on Talksport phoning in to suggest that if Man City really want Rip Van Raheem, then the RS should offer him in a straight swap for Aguero !!

Are they for real?
Should they be allowed to drive or vote?

They are mad mate was out drinking with rs mate of mine yesterday and I kid you not his exact words to me was, I bet you before the season starts that Klopp will be in charge of us and Rodgers will take over at city when they sack Pellegrini nearly chocked on me beer, he wasn't messing either deadly serious. Offered to bet him £100 but he chickened out.

i would love it if mastermind sees milner like united see valencia and use him as a RB. you never know with brenda, but i doubt that will happen. he's a very good wide midfielder imo.

hahaha the last few years have proved that they will never ever change. that haven't bought a star player for years yet every summer, even after finishing 6th or 7th etc. they still believe they can get the world's finest in all departments to join them.
 
Sterling should stay where he is playing in the Europa League alongside Joe Xavi and Hendo where they can rest him by playing him in the 3rd round of the league cup due to their manager's desperation for a trophy.
