Young Gomez probably dreams of playing for City when he's 20 and he's heard that it's a popular route to go from London to the rs, then a big move to City when you realise the rs are garbage now.

If he's as good as they say he is,he'll be wearing City/Chelsea blue in 2-3 yrs.

Hope not,Brenda's shelf life will be over about November and Klopp or Ancelotti might just go in there and make them good again. The more half decent players they lose the better.

I want them stuck with Dumbo,Allen,Mad Mario,Sakho and Mignolet. Now isn't that a spine to strike fear onto the hearts of the rest of the league.

I can't ever recall seeing him before, but the RS buying a promising young centreback who arrives with great fanfare and acclaim before disappearing of the grid is a well trodden path.

Bacca wins the Europa league with proper up and coming manager,gets a shot at the champions league but he'll leave all that behind for a chance to not be one of the names in wee Brenda's envelopes......yes I can see that happening
