I don't know why people are slating his goal record since he's an attacking midfielder who plays on the left... but I still hope he's a massive flop. They're all wetting themselves over a player they'd never heard of a few weeks ago.
 
All these new players arriving at the Pit reminds me of when Souness came in has manager,he cleared the shed, and it all went tits up.

Yes I think that's a fair assessment. I have just read RAWK and they are carrying on like they've got a world beater. They have got a decent player make no mistake. Kagawa is a good comparison really. But this lad is not world class, however much they're going to suggest he is!
 
Coutinho looks the best player in that Brazil side recently and he's no world beater in the prem. what Braxilian players have come to the pram recently and set it on fire? None. There was the same massive hype about Paulinho and Oscar and both have struggled. Even Robinho who had proven genuine class didn't do as well as he should have. He's got a big name that no one else really wanted so they did it to appease the fans. Did they really need another number 10 with Coutinho Lallana and Markovic already there? He could turn out to be another Suarez but more likely he'll be another Coutinho, decent enough but single figure goals and assists for a mid table side.
 
According to the press/The Mirror, they're gonna offload 8 further players (after the 3/4 whose contracts have run out.) Good to see Brenda doesn't talk bollocks, and that such an overhaul last season wasn't a £100 million shambles.

The fee is 21 million and goes up to 29 million with incentives which he will no doubt hit.

The guy is quality and has been a monster at assists in the last 3 years in the bundesliga,from what i have seen of the bundesliga on BTsports he is quality and is only going to get better.
