My cousin having a pop at Carragher. The hypocrisy of these lads is amazing. Clyne makes lateral move for more money and he's a bright, ambitious talent. Sterling tries to do the same and he's a money-grabbing, greedy, agent-manipulated, undeveloped, ungrateful snide with an attitude problem.

That bell end Pearce at the Echo:

In other words, they panicked that they were facing another summer stuck in the starting gate on attacking targets and paid well over the odds for a player nowhere near top quality - or, as Markus Babbel described it "a brutal fee".

And Pearce is commending them for their 'ruthlessness'.

Lol.

I've spent at least a minute trying to work out what he thinks ruthless means.

Considering he's just donated a chunk of change to hoffenheim he acted quite generously.

Egregious hypocrisy is a key component to cult mentality...and Liverpool are cultists in spades.

What a terrible fool Carra is.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher must suffer the forfeit of wearing a Manchester United shirt after losing a bet with Gary Neville that relates to Tottenham midfielder Paulinho. (Independent).

The people that write him off after one game are as stupid as the people that get so excited about signing a player they've never seen play.

Don't think that's right. People that haven't seen him play can trust the club to have done their job and actually scout the player properly, hence can be optimistic that we got a good player that will improve the squad. People can be excited at the club for getting a highly rated player and actually paying good money for him, rather than fluffing around trying while other clubs sneak in and grab the player, even if they've never seen him play

Oh dear. Where to start with this. Trust the scouting system....trust the transfer committee...trust he's good because he was expensive (and don't mention Carroll, Downing, Lallana, Markovic, Sahko etc......)
