Here is how Nathaniel Clyne's move is being treated. Try as I might, I couldn't find any opinion piece about how the move could go sour, how he might want to develop at the Saints etc. This was the extent of the reporting.

Now let's have a look at Raheem Sterling:

This is completely demented behaviour. Liverpool have the most co-ordinated media cheerleading squad I have ever seen, The Mirror alone basically a revolving door of articles from David Maddock, Kenny Dalglish, Michael Owen, Brian Reade, Martin Lipton etc. taking it in turns to pat him on the head one week and brand him a greedy traitor the next.

Then Rodgers has the temerity to turn around and say this:

What media rules? They evidently don't have any, they are the most unrestricted, unregulated force in football journalism, basically the sporting equivalent of Kathy Bates in Misery. They don't even know what they think themselves either, just letting their opinions ebb and flow in whatever way best keeps the delusion intact.

Excepting the Suarez inspired title sortie a couple of seasons back, Liverpool's only real relevance these days gets currency from the incessant (and inane)prattlings of the RS obsessed media in the UK. As shills go, the latter are in a class of their own.

Lucas is now longest serving player??

Hahaha

Liverpool will listen to bids for Lucas Leiva as Brendan Rodgers begins clear-out
Liverpool will consider offers for midfielder Lucas Leiva as the Merseysiders step up their summer clear-out plans.
Manager Brendan Rodgers will complete his sixth summer signing when Nathaniel Clyne rubber-stamps his £12.5million switch from Southampton this week.
The Anfield club will now turn their attentions to offloading a clutch of their unwanted stars as they look to balance the books.

hahahaha can't believe they've bought someone else. Keep throwing money at players and hope one pays off. That clown has absolutely no chance of building a successful team.

'Rodgers begins clearout of all the crap he brought in' would be a more accurate headline.........

It's actually wonderful this...about 80% of Kopites would like to see someone else as their teams manager. General Rodgers is desperately trying to please the mob
