So for a price of a Premier League's worth of Seamus Colemans (with reserves) you get just the one Raheem .. That's right folks, in these hyperinflationary days the current OFFICIAL exchange rate for Sterling is $C817.

Because they legit don't think anyone could ever want to leave Liverpool football club, the biggest club in the world not to have won their domestic league for over 25 years. They think Raheem should play for a manager who'll never win anything for the rest of his career alongside the likes of Joe Allen and Hendo. However stupid that sounds to the rest of the country, it really doesn't to the cult.

It just sums up how pathetic the modern game of football has become. Agents and players wielding power and clubs willing to splash serious cash.

Sterling, at the mere age of twenty, will be receiving a five-year deal which will probably not be short of £150k per week; potentially more.

That's him pretty much made him now whether he develops into a top player or not. His next contract in a few years will be substantial.

Liverpool have also received a hefty wedge for a 'potential', as City have put in a knee-jerk bid owing to the fact that their UK quota is so low.

Almost £120m they've made from two players in the last two summer transfer windows. For Henry and Co. that's VERY good business.

Been happening for years yet they still believe there a massive club
 
40m in wages total for Sterling assuming he's on around 175k a week for five years.

Plus 50m in transfer.

That's a hell of a gamble.

There are times, well most of the time actually, I wish the whole damn thing would just implode. What is the long-term benefit of all the SKY money.....it all seems to be spent/wasted on higher transfer fees, player wages and agent fees and all the time the cost of watching football hits the stratosphere. When a club like West Ham feels it can charge away fans £55 for a ticket, then this madness simply has to stop.
