Didn't Brendon do this to Andy carrol and borini, Brendon bought balloteli and knew what he was about, did he think He was the man to change him.

Andy Carroll accuses Brendan Rodgers of lying ahead of West Ham striker's return to face Liverpool
West Ham striker says he "lost respect" for Liverpool manager due to his "mixed messages" as he tried to offload him.

But Carroll has stirred the pot ahead of the reunion by suggesting Rodgers was two-faced during his days on Merseyside.

"With Brendan Rodgers, there was a lot going on. What he was saying to me and what was actually happening [were different things], " Carroll says in the Times.

"He was telling me one thing to my face, then I'd leave the training ground and he would ring me and tell me a completely different thing.

"He would say: 'You're going to play every week, you're going to play every game up front with [Luis] Suarez. I'd leave and get home and he would ring me and say: 'Fulham and West Ham want you and I think it's best you should go.

"I would go back and see him and he would say the opposite again. It was the same thing round and round and round. On phone calls, it was: 'I think you should go.' To my face it was: 'You'll start every week'."

@davek

Ballotelli could sue Liverpool for unfair dismissal.

Its clearly constructive dismissal. He's not able to do his job and has been ostracised. I hope Brendan has taken legal advice before this rash course of action.

I'd love Balotelli to release a statement where he lambasts Rodgers actions and calls him a no mark manager, and ends it by stating that 'everyone knows he stabbed his own coaching team in the back so it's no surprise he'd treat me like this'.

Do it Mario.

So I see Brendan's handed out the 3 envelopes early this season.

After last year's surprise awards to Luis, Raheem and Stevie Me resulted in 2 fat payments and a load off the wage bill this season Big Bren Gunned for 3 he wants off the premises with ruthless efficiency.

They'll be lucky to get £3m for him now. Meanwhile he's still haemorrhaging £100k a week. Brendan is truly one of the great football managers of our time.

On this latest spat between Mourinho and Benitez... if Mourinho had followed FSW into a couple of jobs and Jose's wife made a petty spiteful remark about FSW and FSW responds like Mourinho did, you just know the reaction would've been totally different.

"WEll dun Raffer, not eskalatin da situayshun"
"Jose dont deserve nothing more dan dat"
"The fk duz this btch think she is?"

So freaking weird.

he definitely will. he won't keep his mouth shut that's for sure. anyway, why do they not give people chances? 1st season for carroll was bad, flog him, 1st seaosn for borini was bad, flog him, 1st season for lambert was bad, flog him, 1st season for balotelli - flogging attempts again.

I reckon we could make any of those three strikers look good at Goodison. It's the different nature of the crowds. We start off with no expectations of a player and no matter how limited they are (Strac) if they're trying we give them support. Players get a bit of confidence a run in the team and suddenly their form improves.

Der werld famous Kop meanwhile writes 80% of players off before they've kicked a ball as 'not good enough for der greatest cloob in der werld' if you're not a fancy foreign star with a price tag them already the cards are against you. Firmino will only have to do one good thing for the Anfield crowd to be drooling over him no matter how poor he might be playing, Ings meanwhile will have to hit 20 in the league to change their opinion that he's not good enough.

I almost want us to take Balotelli off them and make him boss to troll them. Almost.

i'd only take balotelli out of the 3 tbh - love the lunatic.

Weirdly I think any of the three would be alright as third choice striker. Lambert'd actually a decent player but they only give him 5 mins here and there. Who would you feel more confident of getting a goal if Lukaku and Naismith went off, Kone or Lambert?
