Once in my lifetime,just once that's all I ask Eggs,please god.....................let's smash 'em;)lol

Can you just imagine the scenes if (when) we give them a proper hiding... a new ground might be needed as the Grand Old Lady might not be able to take repeated helpings of Andy King, Goslingesque goal celebration mania.

.....I can't predict us smashing them whatever the situation is. We are one point ahead and it's been a while since we got the better of them.
aye but we beat Chelsea and Southampton, two decent teams from last year.

They best Bournemouth with an offside goal............

mot quite the same, even if the points were.

My old man was at the pit in 1964 when we did them 4-0 mate,mind you he was there a year later when they did us 5!!Could the Bullens/Gwladys Street take the strain of a 5-0 to us in a couple of weeks?I'm not so sure;)lol

I know mate ,a wins a win but we really do need to demolish them for once .The day I really thought we were going to do it in the 86 final I had bet on us to win 3-0 before the game but said to a mate at half time I thought I had undercooked it as it looked like it was going to 4 the rest is history.
That had a devastating effect on the team and we never really got over it we had thrown away a double to the worst team ever to win a double, as a team we were streets ahead of them.

I know Paul,people go on about the Keeley 5-0 game,as horrendous as that was it was nowhere near that day at Wembley,as you say,all things being equal they couldn't have lived with us,but when is anything equal with that lot?!!

The Keeley one was bad but we were crap then,The 86 final was worse because we had a great team but still managed to take it up the hoop

Benetez --> Hodgson --> Dalglish --> Rodgers --> Klopp

Does that trend not look a little peculiar and out of place at the end

Benetez --> Hodgson --> Dalglish --> Rodgers --> Redknapp/Hughes/Monk

Now doesn't that look more in accord with the trend of their manager appointments
They could do worse than Monk tbf. Think he's what they thought they were getting with Rodgers.

Monk would have to be barking mad to go there, and at least when they got B-Rod they thought he was the one responsible for "the Swansea way of playing".

It will be Klopp or Ancelotti, probably the former though if Yanks II are looking to sell then getting someone like Ancelotti in as manager would probably make them a lot more of an attractive option. If its Redknapp then the fumes will mean half of Liverpool and all of Oslo will be able to go without central heating this winter.
