My favourite is "Brendan made us dream, didn't he dad?"

No. Luis Suarez made you dream. Then he mugged you off and left. The end.

Something that's coming out in the wash now that they're trying to get Gnashers out. Loads of them queuing up to state that their Easter and Christmas titles were won single handedly by the racist sewer rat and had next to nothing to do with the no mark.

The best review is still:

I bought this and invited round the auld fella, his auld fella and a few of my bezzie mates. We've all got seasies and we never miss a match, home or away. I read this book aloud for them and within 10 minutes they were all wellin' up, I had to compose myself on numerous occasions as I was also on the verge of wellin' up. We ran the full gamut of emotions, from tears of joy after beating City, seething at Mourinho's antics at Anfield to tears of rage at Palace. When I had finished the book there was total silence for ten mins, grown men with tears running down their cheeks, the only sound was tears dripping into pint pots of Carling. Finally the silence was broken by my auld fella addressing his auld fella, 'Brendan made us dream didn't he dad?' his auld fella, face reddened by tears, replied 'he did son, he did... but then they broke our hearts'. That was it, within seconds every one of us had welled up again, tears poured down our faces and we couldn't stop. There we were wiping away each others tears with no embarrassment, we knew what this meant. These were not tears of rage nor tears of joy, no, these were tears for our club, our family. No football club does emotion like Liverpool Football Club, no writer gets into the emotion of our club quite like Paul Tomkins.

Surely to God, this has to be a wind up ?
If not, then whoever penned this has truly sunk to depths of delusion that Jacques Cousteau couldn't have reached and he had a submarine :)

The customer reviews still crack me up

Some funny reviews there, thought this snippet from a review was funny.

"There is a bitter and his missus who live in the flat next to Mums. He has been very quiet the last few weeks, but giving me a strange looking smile when I see him. Of course every other weekend he is at the match with the other bitters, so leaving me in peace enjoying sky sports every weekend. Sometimes I try to listen to him and his missus through the wall, but have to be careful in case Mum catches me.
Anyway, the big weekend arrived. I had been looking forward to it all week, could not sleep. Had to make sure I did all the jobs Mum asked me to do, so she would wash my full kit and scarf ready for the big game. Some of my online friends say at forty years of age I should have my own place, but Mum only asks for a tenner of my incapacity benefit each week to cover everything.
The big day finally arrived. Was up early as I could not sleep. Managed to listen in to next door, good job I hadn't put my shorts on but will need to hide my pyjama bottoms from Mum.
Put sky sports on for the build-up. Just after lunch I put my full kit on, even shin pads and boots. Both scarves ready, kissed the badge five times. On sky sports there was Carra, Tommo, Lawro, Hanno. They then kept showing interviews with Brenny and Stevie G, who had come up with another great idea. They said that the warriors were going to do it for the '96 in the sky'."

No manager on earth could turn that team into anything but mid table mediocrity, refs may get them enough gifts to see them in 7-8th, honestly they have no wingers no decent fbs besides clyne, not one decent centre half, milner has it in his contract he plays centrally, they have spent 60m on benteke whose done his hammy and firminho whose broke a bone in his back, their captains injured and not very good, they basically have coutinho whose inconsistant as anything and sturridge whose made of straw.

Anyone thinking klopp or ancelotti would turn them around hasnt got a clue, they dont actually have a team they have a collection of those 5m squad fillers you have to have in your fantasy footy team to allow you to sign the boss players
