chris smalling is possibly my player of the season so far. alongside stones i must add with unbiased glasses - defenders never get as much recognition but he's been top class. then again, they haven't had any testing games yet.

Sorry mate, but mentioning Smalling in the same breath/sentence as John Stones is, in my opinion, wrong. Smalling has improved, but he had a lot of improving to do. Stones does make a few mistakes, but he's such a classy footballer in my opinion, that he is head and shoulders better than Smalling and will remain so.

Games a draw for me. We always play better at Goodison but they always always find a way of scrapping a result. Doesn't matter how well or badly either team is playing.
