Sorry mate, but mentioning Smalling in the same breath/sentence as John Stones is, in my opinion, wrong. Smalling has improved, but he had a lot of improving to do. Stones does make a few mistakes, but he's such a classy footballer in my opinion, that he is head and shoulders better than Smalling and will remain so.

i meant they were both candidates for player of the season so far. i know there's a massive gap in quality between the two.

IMHO Brom games result has nothing to do with the derby

NO game has anything to do with the Derby

that's why the term 'One Off' was coined

The dice have no memory, what went before does not effect what will come...unless you let it mentally, then it's you that's effecting the out come.

So yeah, we'll find away to muck it up..it's what we do...or the Reff. or the random beach ball in the goal area...something.

Journalist on NBC Sports this morning was reviewing British back pages with Rebecca Lowe before the Watford v Palace game and showed her a page of KLOPP COME AND GET ME.... in reference to him wanting Liverpool to come and get him.

She asked what was going on with Rodgers position and his comments yesterday that people "outside the club" were trying to get rid of him.

She asked who that was.

He said that it was ex Liverpool players who are now sports commentators... he commented on the disproportionate number of ex Liverpool players who are in the media now... said there are about 5 from MUFC, one from Man City, one from Chelsea, a few from Arsenal and Liverpool has at least 11 - big names too!!!

You know their names so I wont try to remember them, but he said they got rid of Dalglish and he was a Liverpool legend as a player, and now they are trying to get rid of Rodgers.

He's a Palace fan and sounded pretty disgusted with them from what I could tell.

Not sure if anyone else caught onto this but it really puts that shower into perspective...

YNWA my arse...

i don't mate for once, their pact with the devil left with Gerrard to LA, without him to get them up for it, do you really think theirs anyone their to get them to raise their games which they will seriously need to do.

Can see us playing like we did in the 3-3 the other year, but against a much weaker Liverpool we will hammer them big time

I think this as well, play well and we should really beat them. However, don't underestimate the power of Everton to spectacularly balls things up for ourselves

Give Sturridge the ball in and around the box and he'll scored goals. His major problem obviously is his injuries and it's the fact that you can't rely on him to play in at least 20 games a season that he's not a regular striker for teams regularly challenging for the league.

His mere presence will buy Brenda more time as he will get the goals, but it's a shame he's back for the derby. I'd much prefer Benteke to be playing against us, but the rest of their team is still pretty turd. Keep the ball away from Sturridge next week and we can win.

This really, the fella is a goal machine. It seems like he hasn't had a shot in his Liverpool career that hasn't gone in. Hope his Weetabix legs pack in this week in training before Sunday

You never know, Rafael could end up being available soon should they put a bullet in Brendan.........

I can live with Rafael, won't keep me awake at night with too much worrying. he got lucky with some good players some of which he didn't buy and some how got extra extra lucky when ACMilan Impolded.

Just as long as they don't get some one who actually knows what he's about.

#kendallMkII?
#dogleadMkII?

I knew they'd beat Villa (who are complete durge) and I equally knew how they'd react to the victory.

They've got the memory of goldfish and are so gullible it's genuinely scary.

Hopefully perma tan will stick weetabix legs in on Thursday and he'll break again. As he's literally all they've got to scare us imo.

Talk about delusions of grandeur..

I am the same guy who nearly won us the league, but better. I have shown in the early stages of my management – without being arrogant – that with a talented group of players I can compete at the top end of the league. I know how to manage top players. If you give me the tools, I’ll do the work.

He's 5'4" with a 8' ego.

I'm genuinely surprised at the amount of RS who have decided all is well again after that win.

I mean I'm obviously delighted as it means Gnashers gets longer in the job to run them into the ground, but even though it's the deluded cultists I still thought they'd recognise that result as papering over some massive cracks. I mean the fact they conceded two is disgusting enough - Rudy Gestede, AKA the most one-dimensional striker in the league, just trebled his goal tally for the season at Anfield.

If Lukaku even half turns up against them he should be expecting a hat-trick.

From Brenda's press conference

“It seems the focus has not been on what’s gone and what we’ve been missing, but more about getting me out of the club. That’s sad. I am the same man who nearly won us the league, but better."

Please keep him there!!
