ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I'd love him to lose the derby obviously, but I want them to win handsomely in Europe.

I want every reason for Rodgers to say. Two more transfer windows and he will definitely bury them for good for the next decade.

nah would rather they get a miserable defeat and go into the derby not on the back of two wins tbh

It seems Everton are now up to 2nd equal with Man U in the APLT (though it should be noted we're not officially in the running over on RAWK).

i just don't understand what plausable workings out they can make which says they're on par to finish 3rd based on their results. i mean they actually have people discussing on there about what the best result is for them in the arsenal v chelsea game regarding par scores. it's utterly mental, in the real world arsenal and chelsea are in a different league to them, so it's all totally irrelevant.

The main thing about tonight's result is that the crowd will be totally up for it. They're won't be the kind of anxiety we sometimes have when we've been on poor form and we have lots of injuries. A loss tonight would have sowed seeds of doubt. Off course there will be nerves, there always are, but I think it will be that we go and tonk this lot like we know we can RATHER than yikes these lot are in better shape at the moment than we are. For away two seasons ago (because of injuries) and home/away last season, I felt extremely apprehensive. Sturridge scores twice and we can still beat this lot. I'd rather not be coming back from these deficits, but they are showing that this season we are coming back and winning.

FYI while some might still call it Soccer, us Yank Evertonians seemed to have some things straight. (taken from EvertonUSA after today's come from behind 3-2 win at West Brom)

That's the sort of thing you do to the government if it's a fine you think is petty. He's turned up to training late and has been given a fairly low fine for it, then acts like a complete cock and does that. Class and dignity, class and dignity.

To make it even worse, it was a £150 that the senior members of the squad help get reduced. What a twerp.

Yup and it's thumbing his nose at Swindon. Indicating his sense of superiority and disrespecting the club. (Some great players have been associated with Swindon over the years must be said) As you suggested: no class; no dignity.

The main benefit to any statistical analysis is it's meant to take bias out of equation (omitting Everton in just plain silly), simple and for it to relate to outside world. You are also trying to take opinion out of (so humans defining what a "par" result is, is stupid if you are using statistics).

That statistical analysis fulfils none of those things. The obvious "tracker" which would be interesting would be comparing results this season to last against equivalent teams. That would be an interesting read. This one just looks like a throwback to the Soviet Era, with a large 2 legs good 4 legs bad feel to it.
