Ah well over at Rawks Drift...theyre in Derby mode...

1892tillforever

Since this will be decided by will rather than skill, it's clear they have the advantage. If we go a goal up, they will come thundering at us. If we go a goal down, does anyone think our side, bereft of confidence, has the bottle to come back?
Make no mistake, this is a golden opportunity for the Bitters to get an increasingly rare win against us. If they somehow contrive to lose, I'd fear for the mental health of that shower on GOT

This deluded berk is obviously easily pleased if the fayre theyre serving up over there could be classed as "skill" yet probably doesn't grasp the irony that Pearl Drops stay of execution would consequently be longer still.
Isn't them thundering at us and us bottling it when they've started booting the [Poor language removed] out of us how we've lost most of the time recently?

Remember a few years back when man utd were on the verge of pipping them in titles won. They then attempted a campaign to claim our first league title as theirs as it was won at the pit. They even produced a documentary on red TV to back up there bizarre claim to it, Bellwhiffs!

Seriously?

Hahahaha, kinell.

Gnashers - "Everton have done well. They are a point ahead of us. They've had a good start and we've had a disaster."

Hahaha, only spent however much more than us, but now he's using us as some sort of yardstick. Desperate.

Soz abar having to Play Chelsea, City, Spurs and Southampton in our first 7 games and not getting to play Bournemouth, Norwich and Villa at home.

Soz abar you Brendan

i seen BBC post that as "cheeky" - i was thinking, is it [Poor language removed]. only a moron knows that they've had a fairly easy start, (3 home bankers against possibly the 3 teams to go down) compared to our really tough one. and then yeah, of course the comparative money.

and no, that's got nothing to do with the mentality difference of both clubs like spurting lesbian says - we both start the season realistically aiming for top 4.

We've also already played 5 of last year's top 8 already, with the other 3 to come this month.

And we didn't have any referees handing us half of our points total.

Extremely poor attempt at a piss take, or "mind games", or whatever that is. He's feeling the pressure and can't cope.

Thinking about it now, you might be right. However, when I read it, i read it as: 'Why is Everton's start considered good, but ours is considered a disaster. We're only a point behind them.'

Or is he actually admitting that he's presiding over a shambles/disaster?

Reading the rest of the article he says (paraphrase) 'me and the players are calm, we're 5 points off the top.'

You've hit the nail on the head there. Its great seeing how naïve he looks trying to be a smartarse referring to us only being a point ahead but they are rated worse. Pity one of the press pack didn't have the balls to make that comparison in teams played. Hopefully, ole Weetabix lips wont need his vanity mirror to see his arse on Sunday - when our team shows the actual disparity between us and them in real terms.
