He clearly doesn't though.

When they pause it with the line across the pitch, part of Kone's body that he can score with is beyond the line therefor closer to the goal than his opponent therefor offside.

Tight and impossible to call accurately in real time but offside none the less.

........The Reds failed to beat Sion in the Europa League on Thursday - a team who have lost four of their opening 10 games in the Swiss league - and defeat at the weekend could see Liverpool drop into the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Despite this, and Everton's fifth-place standing in the table, Liverpool are still favourites for victory with a number of leading bookmakers, and Rogers admits he is glad of that.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of the match, he told reporters: 'We will always take the favourite tag. When you are at Liverpool that is what you want.'We are happy if people want to put that onto us - we are Liverpool. There is no advantage or disadvantage for us. If we are the favourites it shows we are a big club and people look to us as the team who want to have that initiative.

'We are definitely a team where every game we go into the level of opponents' games goes up and that is because of the nature of the club we are. It shows you the level of expectancy here as opposed to another club. We are happy to live with that.'

They're favourites because of all the deludes lumping on them all the time. The bookies odds aren't chances of winning; they're just to balance the betting.
