ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

So why should he make a sideway move? It'd be weird for him to take over at RS, as he should be looking for some top jobs after all he achieved in Dortmund. Why would he want to move to similar club to Borussia is beyond me. He prove once he can build a great club, now next step is an estabilished CL side like let's say Arsenal.

it's most definitely a step down. liverpool haven't been title winners like them nor have they even been in the hunt in the last 25 years bar that1 freak season. they've also not even come close to a CL final in recent times. liverpool celebrated losing 1-0 to real madrid, dortmund actually beat them 4-1, and have been attracting world class players, RS haven't come close.

he really could have had better offers.

The fact he actually wants to work with a transfer committee would say he isn't that good of a manager. The best managers want full control and
the English league is a far harder task than the German one.

Yep. This is an important caveat to Klopp's success, really. What he achieved with Dortmund was obviously impressive up until it fell apart in his last season, but the timing was perfect. The likes of Leverkusen and Schalke didn't really have it together consistently, nor Wolfsburg or Hamburger, and Dortmund are/were a bigger and wealthier club than most of those anyway. There was one giant to topple and Bayern were there for the taking.

As soon as Bayern got their act together and brought Heynckes back they pushed Dortmund away with ease. It's notable that exactly what happened to Rodgers - having an excellent squad/few players for a brief period before seeing it taken away by bigger clubs - happened to Klopp. And just like Rodgers was unable to rebuild a title-challenging side, Klopp didn't manage it either: in the 2013 and 2014 seasons they finished second but they were never at any point anywhere close to Bayern. Both seasons were total one-horse races.

Presently there are at least five other clubs with stronger squads than LFC and comparable financial muscle. If Klopp goes there with the assumption he can recreate what happened at Dortmund he'll fall flat. Of course, terms like 'rebuilding' and 'project' will be bandied about for a few years while he smiles like a psychopath and pretends he doesn't dress in his dead mother's gowns when he's at home, and the cultish weirdness of the club will get even worse, but they'll remain the no-marks they've been for a decade.

My mate worships Carragher. To say he's devastated after Carragher not only said Lucas should've been sent off, but basically called Liverpool a small club...i'm actually keeping a close eye on him now.

Those loveable kopites were funny at the derby though tbf, i mean we're called bitter...but their "banter" of singing about us only was HILARIOUSSSSS!!

I was going to hit them back with a song about not winning the league for a very very long time, but then i remembered they won the Christmas league only 2 seasons ago :(
