I read somewhere the other day that it's presumed he would be a "perfect fit" for them as he's passionate just like the RS fans.. Please forgive me but which team doesn't have "passionate fans"? It's a totally ridiculous statement to try to separate the RS from every other club on this basis.

It is ridiculous but like it or not their club/fans are portrayed as being "special" by the media all over the world. If you say it enough times people start to believe it.
