Does anyone have any idea when it will all stop being about them?
i cant fart in a shed without hearing about Liverpool and their new manager.
They are just awful. I hate everything about them.
Phil Thompson was almost wetting himself on TV earlier , they actually think everyone else cares.
Most hated club in England hires popular manager , wont change anything.
They are still Liverpool and no matter who they hire they will still be detested

So.....Spurs are going to be the first stop on The Kloppster's route to world domination.

Are the Spurs fans accepting of their fate as sacrificial lambs fir Liverpool's latest re-birth, @Yid4life

It must have sounded like a good idea to him, after Bayern told him it was no go for their managers job, to go to the PL to manage. But the reality today of being driven through Anfield, the midden of the team he has to contend with, and the embarrassing Dortmund wannabe fans trying to impress him with their faux ultra 'fanaticism' must have been utterly depressing.

I almost felt sorry for him. He's made a massive mistake and it's just dawning in him.

Fair play to the fella, this move has all been about milking his reputation whilst it's at its highest and getting the most money he can.

He's built one team, with good players given to him by a good and well established committee at the 2nd biggest club in Germany before being sacked as that's what happened no matter how they dress it up.

He's got his massive move now, who knows whether he can replicate his success but any appointment it a gamble particularly a fella who's had 1 good period but he's done what he set out to and hit the most deluded, desperate club he could find and took them for every penny he can.

It's only today he'll sit down, look at the dross he's got to work with on huge money that won't want to go. The clowns in the comittee who'll be playing a big part in choosing his new players and obviously he'll realise the atmosphere he mentioned doesn't really exist and is long gone. That's when it'll hit home that he's really got his hands full but he'll be comforted that if it goes Mike Walker esque he's quids in.

This is a very experiment gamble for them, one they must get right or it could finish them as a top club for a long time.

Given the way the likes of Lawrenson was continually remarking on "its not the booing at Anfield that gets me....its the silence" when he sat waiting with flask, butties and wet wipes for Rodgers to walk the plank, theres going to be a deluge of sycophantic hypocrisy from the likes of him and his fellow brown nosers come their first home game. Again theyll refer to yet another re-model of the long archived original Liverpool Way. The dirge chant for the cameras... check ; the philosophical bast*rdised banners... check ; the replaying of "I don't know what it is but I love it" when they stop pretending they know what Klopp is talking about (I'll give it two games)....etc. Hopefully, Herr Klopp will soon realise its not like the brochure said.

He's taken a massive step down. He's obviously being well rewarded financially for doing that, but I question his judgement going from one of the biggest clubs in European football right now - even taking account of their last season decline - to pick up the reigns of a club that's miles behind the pace of England's elite, never mind Europe's elite.

As said above, I think it was a hasty decision he's made in the wake of Bayern telling him they feel they can probably get Guardiola to commit to them again.

He's a very silly man. He's taken a leap into the dark, but there's no soft landing to be had. Anyone who knows anything about English football could have told him that. But he's an emotional type and has let his passion for resurrecting clubs in decline rule his head.
