Haha its actually funny reading this thread now. people would feel differently if he was our manager now....

but before.it were very good points about the bloke so, swings and roundabouts

Looking at my Facebook, all the news feed items that I have seen (and there have been a lot) might as well have just said 'Klopp says something'.

Listening to him, I have to say I was pretty impressed. And cant help but like the bloke. The fact he is manager of that lot doesnt make me automatically dislike him, jut hope he doesnt do a good job.

Personally think he is a good manager and brings a decent amount of charisma to the job but for me it will always be 50/50 on success (whatever that may be for them lot) due to the unknown quantity of never managing in England (or even outside of Germany) and the fact that his last year at Dortmund was not good and the new manager has been doing pretty well with more or less the same players.

see we will all come to resent the guy over time, more so if he is any good. He obviously has something about him as I'm sure any club would have taken him as manager.

I just laughed then when I I have come to this thread and read some intelligent and decent stuff about him and agreed with it. Then come on now and its all stuff like 'I don't like his smile' haha the way the thread has broken down again is brilliant

Jurgen's Mersey Break Weekend

Friday: Spent early morning walking round the city - nice place, got picked up at 9.30 and went to Anfield, photo opportunity... press conference, hold a Liverpool shirt. Lunch at Malmaison, walked round Albert Dock afternoon, dinner at San Carlo's with the missus.

Saturday: Caught up with the papers, had a nice day at the Walker Art Gallery. Logged into RAWK for an hour - WTF? Feeling a bit odd, get room service

Sunday: Had a great English breakfast, pub lunch, logged back into RAWK for another hour - WTF. Rang Ian (Ayre) and told him I've changed my mind about the job

Monday: Caught flight out of Liverpool for.. well, that's for me to know..

Watching some of his press conference earlier - I got the distinct impression he was thinking to himself that he'd made a huge mistake signing on the dotted line for liverpool. He looked underwhelmed and a bit lost looking.

I bet he's back in Germany now with his head in his hands asking himself WTF he's done.

He's effectively back where he started out at Mainz 14 years ago. How has he got himself into that mess? Unbelievble.

Well I am afraid being there manager does automatically mean I dislike the bloke and wish him 3 years of misery. He has now lost the opportunity of being my mate sorry Jurgen that's the way the cookie crumbles you have made your bed so now you have to lie in it.

Just because he is there manager I think we should start world war 3 .

Was thinking the same when I heard some of his press conference...wasn't sure whether it was his English that was rusty but he came across as a bit wishy-washy to me.

Good manager in a good league, no doubts about that

Now let's see how he gets on in the biggest and most competitive league in the world
In Germany yo have easy games...not in the Prem

Carragher going over the top a little bit.......

" He is not just an appointment for Liverpool but for the whole Premier League.............People will hang on his every word. He can make Liverpool box-office again. Everyone will now be watching Liverpool."

*awaits ballon to burst.........
