This was my favourite.

Not often some things move you for words but I was agog for a full five minutes that one of them genuinely done this.

Can someone edit the bit on the right to "Sprechen ze deutsch? Measure his nose Bob and get a star on his jacket".
I prefer this version personally.

The hilarious thing is Klopp would achieve more with us than he would with them. He'd win them trophies but they won't give him the 4 or 5 years necessary to do it. Two years max and they will be sniffing round the latest continental hipster golden boy.

The rs really believe klopp is the key into signing world class players and believe reus will be signed in Jan.

Well it is possible they might convince a Dortmund player or two to join them who wouldn't have done otherwise, to be fair to them.

That will probably be about it though.

If Reus is available in January. He belongs to Borussia Dortmund and as such they would be extracting full market value out of him. Will the committee sanction 30-40 mill for one player when Firmino has already flopped? All the big boys would also be waiting in line for him. Just because Klopp is there doesn't change Reus' market value of his desire to play champions league.

Well done georgie lad - that was terrific! Great stuff.

I'm tellin ya lads....It's the dawn of a new era :D

Kinell.....When he left that swing in slo-mo, I was so reminded of 'the dawn of man scene' from '2001: A space odyssey' that I was 'imagineering' Also sprach Zarathusa tune in my head. Was only a few pages back I mentioned neanderthals......

Seems like he is backtracking already.

Liverpool’s trophy manager asks for time to win trophies

“People should not make me out to be like Jesus, I don’t walk on water,” he said. “I understand that there are huge expectations surrounding this club, and expectations are important in life, not just football, but I hope no one really thinks I can perform wonders. Of course I cannot. I am not really enjoying all this attention, to be honest. I didn’t ask for it and I am hoping that after the initial big hype we can all cool down a little and get to work.

“I am glad everyone seems happy I am here, but some people seem to think that because Jürgen is here everything will change. I can’t promise that. Some things will change, for sure, and I might be different to other managers in some respects, but we cannot change the whole world in one day. I am sure Liverpool fans are clever enough to understand that we need time. If things need changing I want to do it as soon as possible, but patience is important.”

Oh dear, 'clever enough'. He doesn't have time his appointment has sent the delusional Kopites into uncontrollable excitement. He just doesn't know what he has let himself in for.

The premiership at the moment is weak, with Chelsea in such inexplicable disarray there's no top team that looks like sure things for the title like Mourinho's first Chelsea team or a Ferguson Man U. The quality of the current Liverpool squad is poor, but unless there's major strengthening at the clubs above Liverpool, if Klopp is able to adapt properly (and based on what he's done up to now there's every indication he could) there's a real possibility Liverpool could be genuine title contenders in the next 2-3 years.

Will cost them a load of money though to get there. They have so many over priced failures on the books at present he may not have the money he needs to get them there.
