I feel like organising an exorcism at Castle Greyskull

Just when you think the devil has left the building, he pops his head up and serves up another dose of cruelty via Kopite

Good job the pub's still open. Meh.

If they win this on pens after coming back from 5-0 down with 10 to play it won't come close to the cringe-fest winning the PL would have brought about.

This could still go horribly wrong yet. Anfield has been the only place they've been winning games. Sevilla are a decent side with a decent manager who win this trophy every year.

I'm not a gambling man but I'm willing to bet a shed load of cash on them lot winning it.

I'm not so sure. They've not won a game against decent opposition in the knockout stage away from Anfield yet. I don't think they're quite as good away from home in this competition. I'd be surprised if the game went anything like tonight in the final.

Shows what a decent manager can do to a team, despite pumping a crazy, crazy amount of money into their squad they're not streets ahead of us in quality.

They are though....teams (even top European teams) fear going to Anfield.....they're in a great position now to build their squad in the summer and challenge next season.....whereas we're a mess...

Yep, it was always going to be seville than stopped them. No fear, seville own this competition.

Klopp always loses finals too.

Yet they're at a final.

Klopp is mental and can get his players motivated and put the extra mile in, it's what give him the edge at dortmund. He's got a very limited squad to a European final, I'd more surprised if they didn't win it

Champions league final, league cup final, german cup final in his last game at dortmund, german cup final the year before.

Man's a bottler, never does it when it matters.

Because they've been winning the ties at Anfield.

They're going to have to actually win a game away from home against a decent side who (probably, given their recent history in the competition) won't bottle it, like Villareal did tonight.

Of course they can win it, but I don't agree with the idea that it's anything close to nailed on.

It's Sevilla's cup. Theyve done it before. They're also very good.

I'm going to be doing my best to forget this final is happening for the next nearly 2 weeks and then hope - on the night - that Seville give them a right going over. Whatever else happens they've spawned their way into yet another final - another glory flag waving night potentially - and this time with one of their least able squads.

Just pray they lose and there's no trouble or gate storming (after all they are on 6 charges already with UEFA and Sakho to boot)..

This.

And tonight he had his players playing like madmen too.

Could you imagine Martinez inspiring our players to play like that even if they were fit enough ?

If they win the thing they win the thing. If they don't they don't.With Mr Moshiris money and a new manager we'll be challenging for league titles and champions leagues (not Europa Leagues) sooner rather than later. If they do win it i will congratulate the vast majority of genuine decent Liverpool supporters and move on.Im not going to start a self flagellating session over Liverpool having a bit of relative success.Everton have no reason to feel inferior to any club.We are a historical powerhouse of the game ourselves and a massive sleeping giant.Hopefully in the coming years we will have plenty of trophy winning parties ourselves.
