Hold the bus!!

In their Europa league run they are facing numerous charges for fan violence, incendiary chanting, flares in stadiums across multiple games. Once again a load of fans have travelled without match tickets to numerous games. To top it off they got through two rounds playing a player who was drugged on a banned substance. Despite this, the only story the media is interested in is a very dubious handball in the final. Someone really needs to shine the spot light on their horrific behaviour but they have a media safety blanket. Too many people have an affiliation to them to ever do anything negative against them.

Yes that is the story in amongst all of this. LFC fans acting like an invading army of EDL clones is not newsworthy. We have known that for decades that they are the vanguard of terror, bullying and violence. What is news though is how the club at best choose to ignore this and at worst actively encourage it. The journalists need to start investigating this more thoroughly.

What would Shanks have said !! :D

Ironically....a good article in today's Times by Oliver Kay mentions him at the start.....

Oliver Kay: Liverpool’s heart and soul absent at final moment
They cannot gloss over the fact this side have an inherent weakness

One of the many banners draped down from the stands inside St Jakob Park last night carried a simple three-word slogan from Bill Shankly’s phrasebook. “Bastion of invincibility,” it read, recalling the Scot’s famous quote about wanting to build a Liverpool team so strong that “they have to send a team from bloody Mars to beat us!”
In the case of the modern-day Liverpool, it took the seventh-best team in Spain to beat them — and not just beat them but expose the kind of frailties that had previously been glossed over amid the fervour of a giddying run to the Europa League final. They simply disintegrated in the second half last night and, for all the encouragement they have drawn at times under Jürgen Klopp’s inspirational management, this was a sobering reminder of their inherent weaknesses.................................

The scousest bloke in Preston has lost his sense of humour today. On describing Davek (alleged) twitter page he said;

"Don't put yourself through it mate. The guy is just an attention seeking d*ckhead. Please nobody post any of his tweets up on here today either."

I don't think they are seeing the funny side at the moment :D . "Attention seeking... " not like a bloke who pretends to be a blue, goes on another forum and smears the dead by lying about people's responses to Hillsborough hey!

Come on you cocky rats, whats happened, cat got your tongue? Why not put some of the posts up about Fanta Scruff representing your club in Europe?

I didn't see anything after they went one up, but by Facebook is suggesting there were six unpunished handballs?

The Red echo have no chill with this one.. an article worth reading.

They say a picture paints a thousand words - and we'd be willing to bet in these pictures, at least one or two are expletives.

This die-hard Liverpool fan was spottedenjoying watching the match last night atBierkeller Liverpool ONE - and her face perfectly sums up what went through every Liverpool fan's mind during that last 45 minutes .

She was joined by hundreds of fans who filled the sports bar to watch the match as excitement from turned to nerves, nerves to joy after Liverpool's early 1-0 lead, then joy to despair as Sevilla staged a devastating comeback in Switzerland, eventually winning 3-1.

A series of photographs taken by ECHO photographer James Maloney ultimately sums up what went through every Reds fan's heads last night.

Sorry but I'm confused. What's happened? Is DaveK a Red and is he banned? What did he do?

Thanks
