ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

How much money would the rs save if they just headhunted Southamptons entire scouting network? The compo involved must be less than 2 million.

have a feeling they'd be silly to underestimate you this season, Koeman's a top manager. Surprised your window has been a bit quiet so far though, any interesting rumours?[/QUOTE]

All rumours, meltdowns, jumping for joy, then back to depression again can found in the Everton transfer thread 2016, we also have the back up insane asylum called the 'axel witsel' thread, supported by the 'Juan Mata' thread.

Thank you for this one @rawk_meltdown

I see we lost 6-1 on pages of coverage in today's Liverpool FC Echo

Should just swerve the echo and do a internal media booklet, basically month by month of news and gossip. The echo is a Liverpool fans Manchester based paper.

Plus I would much rather sit on here talking/debating with other fans than read some of the crap the red rag publishes.

I just dont get the RS. Southampton finish 6th. Liverpool buy the core of that team that finishes 6th. Then Liverpool finish 6th and wonder what they did wrong.

You need the IQ of a monkey to understand that if you keep buying the core of a team that finishes 6th you won't finish too far above 6th either.
Maybe they thought UEFA were going to give 6 places to the C/L. After all, that's their only aim every season.

Im convinced they are preparing for a big departure.
Just work it out.

Wijnaldum / firminho / couthinho/ lallana / origi / mane

Who is going to fetch the most money and be the most sought after who in turn will pay for the transfers making them sell to buy yet again?

Of course they have. They're making exactly the same mistakes as they've made time & time again for the last 20+ years. They spend huge money on dross.

I read somewhere a startling fact in regards to how much they've spent on Saints players ALONE the other day.

For the so-called, self proclaimed biggest club in Europe, they don't half sign some turds.

Keep going mate, you will slowly convince the forum that you are not a kopite xxx

By the way I actually believe Karius for the money they paid is actually one hell of a buy ! Price tags hanging over players heads is one reason that a lot of big names for LFC struggle, their fans demand blood when it doesn't work out.

I would also like to go on record and say I agree with DSB, I think Klopp is going for that 4231 formation that worked at Dortmund. I also agree that whilst Klopp is in charge, a lot of the players will want to play for him, that can give you a extra 5-10% to go that little bit further.

Not sure if the league title is possible for them but they may win a cup or shock a few teams. As long as Everton go one step further than them such as a top four finish or a cup final/win then that's all that matters. Leave LFC to do what they want to do, if anything I would hope Moshiri and his Russian assassin would be able to get us to believe again, believe that we can achieve something. If that means taking longer to bring players in of real quality then im willing to watch the likes of Karius and Wijnaldum go to them (I mention them because im a big fan of both from previous clubs).

In the current climate I think £25m for Gini is a decent buy, certainly better value than Mane for £36m although Mane could prove us all wrong and actually step up another level.
