Thing about him is mate, and saw this at the time from S'land fans when they sold him - he's a keeper that supposedly struggles a lot on concentration, so when kept busy yeah can look really good, but the better the side - the less he has to do, then the mistakes start happening, bizzarely he will make more howlers the better that rs side gets.

By no means alone in that for keepers ofc

What made you think today proved your point about him though mate, a decent save from a piss poor pen, let in 3 of the other 4 shots he faced. Hardly something to get excited about really

Mignolet is only starting because Karius is out,who's a far better keeper.

They look pretty good going forward,defensively not so good especially with Moreno at LB who is absolute gash.

Seeing Klopp Dortmund side starting to show with the counter attacking style and plenty of bodies in the box when in the final 3rd which was a Klopp hallmark in his Dortmund sides.

Not sure how they kept Coutinho,i thought he would have been gone,not sure who it was on here but someone said a few weeks they have bad finances and Coutinho would be sold.

Hmmm how many times you actually have ever seen Karius play to form that opinion mate?
Moreno is the scapegoat - the entire backline is woeful, just he makes the highlight errors
Disagree - think all we saw today was the exact same BIG performance as an underdog away from home that we saw last season against City and Chelsea (i think) - people are already overlooking against a patchwork Arsenal team they nearly blew a 3 goals lead and should have been 2-0 down if Walcott could hit a pen
They kept Coutinho because their was absolutely zero interest in him from any big team mate, maybe they have judged him as someone who shows up for a dozen games a season with a world class finish and goes missing for 3-4 games in a row afterwards, he's broke till Christmas now anyways

Karius i've seen lots of times on fox sports in the usa,watched alot of the Bundesliga since 2011 over here.

He's far superior to Mignolet,commanding in the box and great with the ball at his feet like a lot of the german goalkeepers in his age group in the Bundesliga,Mignolet has none of those attributes,having a keeper like that makes any defence look on edge.

Anyway they seemed to be in a mess if Coutinho is out till xmas,as soon as he went off today they lost their edge offensively.
