ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They are the entertainers, didn't you know? To be fair, I think Guardiola and Mourinho have had more discussion than the RS.
generally before the season yes i would agree. But over the last week or two, since the start of the international break i seem to see nothing but liverpool refernces all the time. Interviews with klopp, pre match with klopp (don't think Conte got a feature on sky sports for his conference), all the mention of the stand, the result at the weekend etc

Just gets on my tits a little bit because for a club not succesful in years, no european football, they are no different to stoke. And no-one mentions stoke.

Least we are getting mentions through actually playing football and getting results.

It's going to take 20 more years of failure before people start ignoring them. They were the most successful team in Europe when most journalists and TV editors were growing up, and lots of them support the RS because of that.

you what i want to happen. Us winning the derby round christmas (isn't it?) and putting a sizable gap between us as we look like a genuine threat to the top 4 at that point with Koeman in charge.

Whilst liverpool celebrate their quarter final league cup success like it is a trophy in itself.

just that scenario would make me happy, just to be able to brush the derby aside like its another game just this once.

You really need to study the rules. That game was a par 3 for us since we were at home. Every home game is a par 3.
It was a par 1 game for Spurs since they were away to a team that finished in the top 12 last season.
C'mon what could be simpler?
Read them, didn't like them, made an alternative set of rules to fit my agenda...
Sound familiar?
Tbh, didn't read them and when I saw them realised the error of my ways, but too late to delete post.

Not since the days of Stalinist Russia, have we seen the ability to rewrite history accomplished so effortlessly.

Ballotelli is signed, and Pravda, sorry the Echo, has front page news that £40,000 worth of replica kit's bearing Mario's name, have been sold.

These are all now languishing in the charity shops of Padstow and Oslo, and it never really happened.

This. A whole generation grew up with them being the dominant force in England and to an extent in Europe. The next generation grew up being force fed tales of their glory days while they were more or less in contention for things* and kept things ticking over with the odd trophy.

*Original members of the sky 4. However, now City and to a lesser extent Tottenham have displaced them.

Long may their decline continue.

it matters not how many games we win we just cant overtake those pesky reds on the APLT, sometimes I wonder if its biased
