ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

The difference between Klopps RS and Rodgers RS is night and day. Looking at some of the other posts here, you're own your own. I understand you hate them but to deny the obvious improvement is making you look foolish. Is it really impossible for you to have a sensible discussion about them? You're showing yourself up as being uneducated and lacking simple football knowledge.

Mate, you're on an opposition fans forum wanting or needing, can't decide which, them to agree you're a great team with a great manager. Before you start calling anyone uneducated, you might want to think what a brainless tool would waste their time doing that.

I DO hate them. Doesn't make me any less pragmatic.

So, what's or where's this 'obvious improvement' you're talking about? He finished 8th last season. That's not improvement. They're on a decent run, but they've been beaten by burnley. So what if they've beat an under-strength arsenal, a leicester who weren't gonna emulate last season, or a below par but still in transitional stage chelsea?

Best to get them sorts of games out the way early; that said they struggled to collect a point at home against your arch rivals. Motivation?

It's not even November, nevermind April.

We've been pretty lucky over the past 26 years with regards to them. It's always been a matter of time before they get back to winning major trophies regularly, with the infrastructure and fanbase they have it was always coming it's just a miracle that it's lasted this long (and will hopefully last a few more years). Grim times ahead i fear.

I'm a Blue mate. but are we really that bad that we can't say anything good about them? I'm very critical of Koeman so far and there's a comparison to be made with other managers. Koeman mostly had the players bought for him, he's a coach. Has he coached our players well? can you honestly say any of our players that were already here have improved?
As for Whistling Dixie being ill educated, can anyone really read his posts and say he's educated?

Oh aye?

'Uneducated' says that sentences begin with a capital letter, and NEVER with the word 'but'. As for the sentence itself, see above.

This is a thread about the shoite - NOT about Koeman, and how good he is in relation to das beaut. See above (1st quote)

Not got the bollox or the brains to tag me into the discussion? You seem to have have taken a bit of a turn in your attitude and have deflected to taking a personal issue, and you've tried to turn the discussion into a 'who's the better manager?' ever since I mentioned I hate them....Can't think why, like. :coffee:

I always admired him at Dortmund. Even though at first he looked slightly frayed at Liverpool and possibly out of his depth, seemingly not so.

Unfortunately for us, he appears to be a huge step up from Brenda and someone who can maximise the talent at his disposal.

Perhaps he's not always got a plan B. Perhaps his team will tire over the season or he won't sign the calibre of talent he did at Dortmund.

Either way, he's their manager who has concerned me the most for a long long time.
Yep, when players by into something it's a big difference. It's clear he's got them unified and enthused.

He's in the enviable position of being one of the best managers in the PL with a very decent squad all told, but who fly under the radar as far as expectations in the media are concerned.

Wassamarra you, eh? o_O

Last season Loysturr couldn't do right for doing wrong - Even as late as Mid-April.

These clowns have done nothing of note as yet, and you're predicting a rosy future for them in November?
It's not rosy, it's very realistic: top four this season will be reached, imo. That could very well see a glut of top players into Liverpool to join Klopp and boost them further.

As said, the only thing cutting across that future is interest from a club like Bayern. If they come knocking on Klopp's door he's going to leave.

Thank God the rat doesn't play for them under klopp

Funnily enough, I was talking with a (very rare) sensible RS fan a few days ago, and he genuinely is sensible, and he said exactly that... If they don't get top four, Klippity will be gone, of his own accord, next summer.

I suggested he was talking nonsense and he very calmly looked me straight in the eye and said, "would you care to put money on it, I'll give you odds".

I was a tad shocked if I'm honest cos this guy is not one for spoofing.

Will? Could?

One would sure follow the other wouldn't it?

I'll wait & see. In the meantime I've seen nothing that even gives me the notion they'll do much of significance.

This is why I doubt they'll do much - they have nobody like him or it'd be a different story. Jurgen can be the biggest motivator on the planet, but unless you've got the tools...

I agree dixie, I think not having a top striker will affect them more than the defence. Suarez proved that last time, there defence was utter cack but he almost dragged them to the top.

As @davek said, I think CL will be heading their way, I know theyll drop points but so will others. It's next summer if they qualify that I'll really worry.

Ffs can I be arsed with those mutants, already getting "it's our title" now.

Not necessarily. CL football might see them attract a few or lots of class players, which is why I stated it could lead to a glut of them.
