ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think they'll keep him around for as long as he keeps getting them into the CL; the amount of money he has made for them (and the changes he has enabled allowing to make that money) is too much to risk in order to chase a league title (especially when its against clubs spending idiot money on players).
He is a very safe pair of hands for Arsenal...a bit too safe for some of their fans, like.

When Wenger goes he'll be looked back on as a giant in their history. They'll struggle to get a better one who can consistently perform like he has.

His job there is incredible, only Ferguson and arguably Shankly have done as much for their clubs (in terms of overseeing a positive transformation of all aspects of the club, not just football performance) as he has. They'll never be able to replace him when he goes.

Yes, it's important to remember he gave them a complete operating model as well as his coaching.

More solid from "porous" isn't that great a development.
I know. A development it is though. Matip looks decent with a turn of pace ( although I did want us to go for Ashley Williams). The keeper looks ropey on crosses but HAS to learn and has been told he is number one so Hermann Munster of Belgium has to warm the bench. I would like to see us mix it up a bit when teams press and cut our midfield out and use Mane's pace to drag the centre halves out wide and run at them.

I said it was looking "more solid" .
You could argue that your defence has improved in some elements, however I would primarily put that down to the positivity of your style of play.

You seem to put so much pressure on teams that you constraint their attacking options and do not allow them to build up steam in their play.

In essence, how well your forward line and midfield has played has resulted in removing the pressure from your own defence; that's to your credit!

Yet, you've still only kept one clean sheet if I'm correct though? Kauris from all accounts is fragile too (my Uncle is a Red season ticket holder).

As such, I think it's too early to judge how strong the likes of Matip, Lovren, Clyne and Kavan will be if your modus operandi changes or fails.

They may flourish but I'm yet to be convinced that they will, although I'm sure Klopp will already have his eyes on strengthening your defence.

W.O.W. That sounds like you think Roberto was chased for losing 2 semis.

The post you quoted definitely says he got chased for not being good enough.

If Koeman got us to 2 finals in his 1st season, (which is now impossible & it's only October) I think we'd all be very optimistic over Ronald & the future. If Koeman lost said finals, would that make him a tried and tested loser? Serious question. Be good if you could answer it. Hell, if Ronald got us the Cup Final he'd be lauded.

If Koeman had lost as many cup finals as Klopp and had a track record that is nothing special managing probably the biggest club in a 2 horse race whilst the other team was having a sticky patch there would be loads of questions still to be asked. Fortunately Koeman's one of the most decorated footballers/managers in the modern game and is a tried and tested winner, with lots and lots of trophies to prove it, unlike Klopp.

I don't really want to post this as I'll be accused of being a RS, but here goes.
Tell me who turned the Bundesliga into a 2 horse race. As the year before he took over Dortmund, Stuttgart won it, the season after he took over Wolfsburg won it. Them two winners were sandwiched by Munich winning it. That's 3 different Champions in 3 years. If you go back another 2 years Bremen won it, 4 different Champions in 6 years. Munich haven't always been as far out of sight as the last few seasons. Hardly a 2 horse race League. The 4 seasons prior to him taking over Dortmund, they finished 7, 7, 9 & 13th.

Why don't you start a "Why Klopp is the best manager in the weerrrld" thread , and you can talk to yourself on it rather than boring the rest of us on this thread?

Because he's not and I don't want to,I'm merely pulling someone up who seems to want to rewrite history. I hate Liverpool, but I don't mind Klopp, he seems a regular fell who loves his footy.

I hate Liverpool, I might have mentioned it before....

This beatification of Klopp is irritating, the old 'wouldn't talk to the S*n' stuff is being blown out of all proportion, if they were doing things properly there wouldn't be a Murdoch whopper there at all.... and we shouldn't have them at Goodison either btw
