The Sh1te have been playing with false hope for quite some time - and, come to think of it, a whole lot of number 2s all over the park.. (last season this was commonly referred to as Kenny's Dogsh1te, this season as Da Philosh1te).

You can see what's going to happen over there at Anfield. Brendan is already conceding to Gerrard he can play his normal game if he likes (which is basically 50 yard punts all over the pitch completely missing out midfield). In January they'll get Carroll back or buy someone they can go more direct with when it's going tits up (sold to the fans and media as a big lad who can also play on the deck etc etc).

They'll be like Stoke Mk II by May.

Is right, but he'll claim its an extension of Plan A and an adaptation of the philosophy required to move from one of the greats to the very elite whilst finishing a glorius 9th with the fans lapping it up and baying for more. All defeats of course being the result of conspiracy or only geting 30mil to spend each year from their tightwad owners.
